After dinner, Chu Zhiyi and Yan Jingting took their two children home.
The six-month-old Yan Lin and Yan Jin had become clean and beautiful, irresistibly adorable to the point that one could hardly keep from gobbling them up.
Having had their milk in the car, they lay in their parents' arms and soon fell into a deep sleep.
After placing the children in their cribs and seeing them sound asleep, Yan Jingting then turned his gaze toward Chu Zhiyi, who seemed somewhat silent.
Yan Jingting sat beside her, his hand resting on her forehead, and asked in a low voice, "Tired?"
"No."
Chu Zhiyi pulled down his hand, suddenly swung herself to sit on his lap, held his face, and put on a serious face, "When you were horseback riding, mom had me look at an album you organized. Guess what I saw in there?"
Yan Jingting was momentarily stunned, unable to recall what Chu Zhiyi was referring to, so he followed along and asked, "What did you see?"
