(4)Trapped??

Blaze's POV:

After I screamed I closed my eyes, waiting for something to happen. But the pain never came.

I slowly open my eyes to see Pyro standing in front of me. Except he was now 4 times his normal, dog-like size. I gasped in shock and took a step back. Pyro looked back at me and gave a small smile.

"Um...." I mumbled as I looked around at all of the shocked/scared faces of the pack. "How about we continue this conversation at your packhouse?" I questioned after 5 minutes of silence.

The Beta nodded and began to walk towards the door. He looked back at me confused, "Are you coming or not?". Sighing I looked Pyro in the eyes "I'll be out in a second". The Beta nodded and continued out of the door, the rest of the pack following.

"Did you know you could do this!?" I questioned Pyro, well more like yelled at him. He slumped down and looked to the floor. Seconds later he gave a small nod.

I huffed, "Of course you knew! And you never thought ONCE to show me this ability of yours! Is there any other things you have kept from me!?" Pyro never responded, but kept his eyes on the floor.

"Let's go," I said while walking towards the door. I looked back, halfway through the door. "Well, are you going to shrink back down, or stay freakishly huge?". He huffed and began to shrink to his 'natural' size. I nodded and walked out of the door, Pyro followed.

Once outside I saw the pack on the sidewalk across the street. "Follow us, we are taking a shortcut through the woods" I nodded and began walking across the street.

When I finally got to them they began to shift and head into the woods. Once they were all out of my sight I looked over to Pyro. "Shift into your bigger form" I whispered so the pack wouldn't hear. He did as I asked while looking at me with understanding. I hopped onto his back and he took off in the opposite direction of the woods.

Soon enough we heard growls and large footsteps behind us. Pyro began to push harder, I could feel the tensing and un-tensing of his muscles. Hmm, I wonder if he would have abs if he was human...

Snap out of it Blaze! You cant think of a wolf-like that! I thought to myself while shaking my head. What is wrong with me lately!? Ugh, must be hormones.

About 15 minutes after our escape, we couldn't hear the pack anymore. So of course we slowed down to a walking pace.

We found a new hotel and made sure this one was werewolf-free. Once in the room, I set out Pyro's dog bed and changed into my pj's. I flopped down on the bed and was soon out like a light.

~~Next Day~~

I woke with a start when I felt something brush across my face. Opening my eyes I saw Pyro's tail on my neck. "Pyro! What have I said about sleeping on the bed!" He just groaned and flopped back down on my other pillow. I huffed and pushed him off of the bed, and onto the floor.

I laughed when all he did was groan and close his eyes. "Well someone's sleepy" I chuckled.

He, again, groaned. I got out of bed and jumped onto him. He was startled at first but then closed his eyes again. "Pyro, if you don't get your butt up, I will throw you down the trash shoot!" I said in his ear. He shivered but began to get up. I stood and made my way to the bathroom.

I grabbed my bracelet and shut the bathroom door. I walked over to the shower and turned it on. Once it got to the right temperature I hopped in. But then I heard scratching on the door. "Pyro just come in if you're going to be annoying me the whole time!" I yelled so he could hear me.

I heard the door open and then close. I peeked out of the shower to make sure it was him, luckily it was. I continued with my shower and cut off the water when I finished.

Hopping out I grabbed a towel quickly and covered myself. "Ok, you need to go out now!" I stated firmly as I opened the door. He walked out and I began to get dressed.

Two more days and it is my birthday! Ooh, I'm so excited!! I'm so ready to find my mate, I just hope he's not too old for me. That seems to happen a lot in the wolf world.

Once I finally had my outfit for the day on, I walked out of the bathroom. Grabbing my purse and phone I yelled over my shoulder for Pyro. "Come on doggie! I'm bored!" I heard a growl coming from somewhere in the living room, and then he came running towards the door.

He stopped once he reached me and gave me a glare. Rolling my eyes and chuckling, I walked out of our hotel room.

I spent the whole day exploring the city and even had time to do some shopping. Although that's not my favorite thing to do.

But I think fighting/training isn't an option here, so ill have to stick to shopping. I flopped onto my bed in our room and soon fell into a dreamless sleep.

The next day I did the same thing over again. My birthday could not come any slower! I was ready to find my mate, but not ready for the hardships that would likely follow. I fall into my bed and stare at the ceiling. Soon enough I am lulled to sleep by Pyro's snoring.

I woke up startled and took a look around the half-lit room. I mumbled to myself and stood out of bed. I then began to open the curtains, I sighed as I felt the sun's rays on my skin.

I turn around to go back to bed and almost face plant as I trip over something. Whoops looks like I left my shopping bags in the middle of the floor.

I grabbed them and threw them into the closet. I walked towards the kitchen and grabbed some dried pigskin for Pyro. Making my way towards his bed I softly called his name to wake him up.

His head shot up and we caught eyes. Something strange shifted and I was shocked. "What the heck!" I exclaimed completely and utterly shocked to the core.

This can't be happening!
