Time was ticking down, and soon, the robots arrived on his floor, their metallic frames glinting under the dim lighting.
Taking a deep breath, Xu Feng monitored their movements through his tablet screen, waiting for the moment they turned toward the doors.
His heartbeat remained steady, his mind calculating the perfect timing. 'The robots really are taking their sweet time.'
Although arriving at his floor, the robots didn't try to scan the dorm immediately. Instead, they inspected the surroundings first, ensuring no one was outside of their dorm.
Had it not been for their diligence or program, then Xu Feng wouldn't have been forced to patiently wait inside his dorm.
Thankfully, their inspection was rather swift, having finished in less than a minute.
As the robots turned their infrared scanners from sweeping the corridor with red beams toward the doors, Xu Feng sprang into action.
