<Joseph POV>
I continued to my jog as usual. I started jogging on early mornings when I came home from university as I could not find anything else to do.
As I was jogging around the park that was close to our house I took out my phone to check the time and figure out how long I have been running for.
The time said it was 6 a.m. which meant I was running for 15 to 20 minutes.
As I was checking the time a notification from the phone distracted me. I decided to look at it.
It was a notification from a news agency from my country. I usually discard them without look at what it says. And I was too lazy to block the notifications. But instead I decided to read it this time.
The news agency said that an earthquake happened in the southeast region of my country. Which was not unusual as the country I was born, Turkey or Türkiye as it is now was on a fault line. What was not usual was that it was was a big one, 7.8 to be exact.
As I was reading the news I did not pay attention to my surroundings and the last thing I heard was honk of a car as it hit me.
<3rd Person POV>
In the blind darkness of nothingness suddenly a light appeared. It was so weak it would not be even noticeable if aside from the light everything was not darkest tone of black imaginable.
The light or the soul look shaken, well as shaken as something without a physical body can be.
Then in front of the soul a door appeared as sudden as the soul's appearance in the nothingness
<Soul POV>
I 'woke up' with a start as my memories come back to me
I started to look around me and all I saw was pitch black darkness. I started to wonder what happened to me as the last thing I remembered was the car hitting me and feeling of my bones being crushed.
I figured I was either dead or was in a coma as one could not walk away from that crash as if nothing happened.
I decided to chose a direction to walk but, as I could not even feel which way I was lookin at, I could not.
Then I did the only thing that was available to me, which was waiting.
<5 minutes later>
I am bored. I thought.
Is this it. I wondered.
As I was questioning my existence a 'door' appeared in front of me. Only it was not an usual door.
I would not call it a door even. It was the gate of Mines of Moria from Lord of The Rings. It was not on a hill side however it was on the air and the words on it was transparent, I could still see the darkness behind it.
Then the middle of the words flashed white and before I could event thing or 'say' anything It swallowed me.
<Moments later>
I woke up with a start again. But this time I had my body and I was sitting on a chair across from a desk.
I was in a study room. The room had a lot of bookshelves, a burning fire place I could feel the heat from where I was standing, it had a world map on a globe but as looked closer to it, the map was not of the Earth I was from, but I still knew where it was from as I was a Lord of The Rings nerd and it was a map of the Middle-Earth. The map even had the Isle of Númenor on it but it was painted in a deep blue colour.
As I was looking around the room a old man came through a door, which I did not even notice.
The old man had a staff he was using to walk around the room. He had a long white beard and hair. His clothes were baggy and they were cut like a robe.
While I was observing the old man I felt like I knew him from somewhere. Then it hit me where I knew him from but it is impossible I thought.
-"I am not late am I" asked the old man, Gandalf.
-"No, sir" I answered instinctively
-"Okay then, lets get over with it. And you can be on your way after it"
-"Get over what, sir?" I asked the Maiar.
-"You have died, as you would have figured by now. Usually when someone dies they are sent to the gods they believe and are sorted accordingly to their believes and if someone does not believe in any of the gods they are send to council of elders to be judged of their deeds and are reincarnated accordingly. As to why you are here. The last god you prayed to was Valar and They send me to deal with you. Now I know you did not mean it you were just trying to read aloud the written elvish but, it does not matter. What matters is you prayed to them, even if it was without a meaning."
I was stunned as Gandalf continued to talk as if he was reading my-
-"Yes, I can read your mind"
-"Well that makes things easier, now what happens to me?" I asked. Then was shocked by how calm I was for someone that just learned that they have died.
-"I am using a spell to keep you calm so I do not waste more time here. You will be reincarnated to a world and will be given 3 gifts. As to what are the gifts are and what world you will go to, it will be determined by this sock. It was given to me by Dumbledor on my death day. I enchanted it to be a bottomless bag. This pair will determine where you will go and" he gestured to the other pair " This pair will determine your gifts"
After explaining he gave me the sock that will determine my destination. I put my hand in the sock and felt around. It was full of papers. I chose one of them.
The paper was folded so I unfolded the paper. It read 'The 100 (TV Show/ Book)'. 'Lucky' I thought. It could have been worse, it could have been a universe full of psychopathic space gods.
-"Ahh a low-tier world. Not too shabby I would say. Now give that sock to me and take this pair"
I did as Gandalf told. And again put my hand in to the sock.
-"You will select 3 of them" Said Gandalf
I took one out and decided to not open it until I selected all three. Then I took the other two out as well.
I unfolded the first one. On the paper 'the Ark's gravity will be four times of the earth' was written.
-"What does that mean?" I asked.
-"It means the people that have been on the space station for generations will have denser bones and will be four times stronger than the people on earth"
-"Cool!"
I unfolded the second paper as well 'Eidetic Memory' was my second gift. I need not ask as I was a avid fanfiction reader and already knew what this gift meant.
I unfolded the third and final one of papers. My last gift was 'Green Arrow's (Injustice) Skills'.
-"You will gain all of Oliver Queen's skills. Whether it is his archery ability, his business skills or his fighting prowess." Gandalf explained the gift to me. "Now you will chose where and to whom you will born as well as your appearance"
-"I want to be born on the Phoenix Station on the Ark as son of Marcus Kane and a Phoenix Resident. I want a panel like that is in Skyrim or Black Desert to determine how I look can you do that?"
-"Yes, certainly" answered Gandalf.
I spend at least an hour on my character crea-ahem appearance and in the end it look like Cullen Rutherford from Dragon Age. I always liked that man.
-"Are you done?" asked Gandalf calmly.
-"Yes, sir I am done. And thank you for the opportunity to live again. Send my thanks to Valar as well."
-"But of course."Said Gandalf. "Have fun in your new life. Now as to how you will be reincarnated. I will need a little help from GROND"
As I was wondering how could GROND help me reincarnate Gandalf summoned the siege engine in to the middle of the room.
-"I am sorry about this but this must be done." Said the wizard who is never late.
After he spoke GROND crashed against me in such speed that I could not even react.
And that is how everything went to black again.

As the man above said constructive criticism is always welcomed just do not be an a*sh*le about it
