Figure

"You can see me?" The figure asked, his voice losing quite a lot of fine tone.

Kael rolled his eyes trying to avoid the figure's gaze. If the figure could ask him why he could see him, that is a hell lot of suspicion which might be dangerous as well. The best plan was to feign ignorance.

"Why is the sky so dark?" Kael questioned the unknown looking up at the sky like he had never seen darkness take over the sky all his life.

'He should leave now if I am not paying attention to him.' Kael thought to himself trying to keep a strong demeanor so the figure wouldn't notice he could actually see it.

"I better get under a safe haven!" Kael mumbled in haste trying to back away but the figure's next move made him stop in his tracks.
