◇The Kiss◇

Inwardly, Long Zexi felt as though his blood was boiling.

"Keep calm." Lu Xing muttered under his breath, his own anger rising.

But he was already making a fist in front of him.

"Would it be alright if I punch this guy?" Lu Xing turned to ask Sho with a rather scary smile plastered on his face.

Sho nodded as he placed his hands on ears.

Lu Xing swung, and Li who'd had time to prep himself lifted his arms up in an x form to block the punch, but the power of Lu Xing's swing was stronger than he expected and he flew into the wall, cause a hard 'thud' against it.

"Try that shit again and I'll castrate you." Lu Xing stated his eyes not smiling even with the scary smile on his face.

Long Zexi's hands became fist at his sides, but he didn't move an inch.

Instead he was trying to process his feelings...

'Why did that affect me so damn much? I barely know this guy...' Long Zexi thought, 'it can't be...do I....'

His ears turned red.

"That was...exciting." Yang Jun said, with a shy smile, "Should we help Li?"

"Nope. The big buffoon asked for it." Yang Jin said, then darkly thought, 'That bastards dangerous in another way, better keep Yang Jun near me 24/7.'

"Why..how...just..." Kuan Bo muttered as he tried to process the entire incident.

"I wonder if its to late to switch out a teammate for the scouting trip..?" Lu Xing wondered aloud.

"Ugh..." Li sat up from where he'd laid on the ground against the wall, "You could've held back on that a little swing ya know?"

He groaned, and seemingly stretched as he got up, his eyes falling upon Lu Xing.

They were full of michevious humor.

"That was a really nice swing." Li complimented with a grin, "Lets get going, I'm starving."

"I think we should switch out this deviant?" Lu Xing inquired Sho.

Sho looked at everyone there, and then shook his head, and said, "Kuan Bo isn't strong enough to be part of a small three person scouting trip. Yang Jin will never let Yang Jun go without him, and if Yang Jun doesn't go, he'll never go either."

"I'm too exhausted, and Stella has already reached her limit for awhile." Sho said when he looked at Stella who shook her head, "You three are the only one's capable of still holding your own."

Lu Xing inwardly sighed as he felt a big headache developing.

"I guess we should head out.." Lu Xing finally relented dejectedly.

Li grinned coming over.

Lu Xing placed his hands up toward the man in a stopping motion.

"You stay a good few feet away from me." Lu Xing stated with a glare.

'I guess my first kiss in this lifetime came to be like this.' Lu Xing felt upset, but held it in, 'I didn't have any romantic plans but still...'

'I feel a hundred percent cheated here.' Lu Xing felt like sulking, 'I let my guard down for just a minute...'

"Let's just headout already." Lu Xing said sighing.

Long Zexi nodded, his inner self in alot of turmoil.

Li went ahead and stood near them.

Everyone other than these three stepped away and gave them a wide berth.

"We're heading out then." Lu Xing said.

"I'll be back." Long Zexi promised.

"See you guys in abit." Li said with a wave.

Li grabbed hold of Long Zexi's right shoulder, and Long Zexi took initiative and grabbed hold of Lu Xing's right hand, holding it within his left hand.

Before Lu Xing could think any further on the abrupt actions, Long Zexi instantly focused on his ability, and the orb began to form around them.

It began to swirl faster around them just as it had last time until finally the rift of currents accumulated and once again the orb vanished into the void.

"That was really cool." Kuan Bo said, as he and the rest for once had witnissed Long Zexi's ability from an outsider point of view.

"No kidding." Even Yang Jin admitted to as much, "Well not much to except idle now, lets go upstairs and rest Jun'er."

He grabbed Yang Jun's hand and practically dragged the guy upstairs.

Kuan Bo followed behind them, deciding that resting was probably the best way to ignore his hunger pangs.

Now only Stella and Sho remained in the cellar.

"They'll be fine..right?" Stella finally asked Sho as she went to him and rested her forehead against his shoulder.

His arms wrapped around her in comfort, as one arm reached up and petted her head softly.

The comforting caresses making her relax.

"They'll be fine. Lu Xing seems like a really dependable ally." Sho said.

"He's a liar." Stella stated sourly, her face pouting.

"I feel like it was half lies, and half truths...not much different from us after all." Sho said, a saddened smile on his face.

Stella suddenly sighed.

"We should tell Long Zexi the truth when they get back." Stella said, as she finally raised her head to look Sho in the eyes.

"I agree." Sho answered, a darkness entering his eyes briefly, then he leaned forward and his lips pressed against Stella's own lips, their feelings pouring out into one another.

Pain, grief, and tender feelings of love.

"Without you, this world would be an unbearable hell Sho." Stella said rather breathless as she pulled away, her emotions threatening to drown her.

"You're stronger than you give yourself credit for, my love." Sho tenderly touched her face, memorizing every inch, "You're my strength in all of this."

"Mmm.." She leaned back in for kiss.

It was their one and only safe haven, this embrace filled with their love.
