The girl then began turning her head in slow motion. What she saw really scared her. Behind was a bronze-ranked Level 5 Demon Wolf. The girl couldn't help but scream with all her efforts. Now she was cornered as she didn't know where to go. In front of her was Yue Yang while behind her were Hui Tai Lang and Ah Man.

Yue Yang arrived in front of her and he touched her shoulder with the palm holding the flame.

When the flame touched her the girl began screaming as she rolled on the ground.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH, IT HURTS, AAAAHHHHHHH."

"PLEASE STOP IT IT HURTS, AAAAAHHHHH"

All her comrades seeing how she was suffering began trembling as they searched for any method to escape. Some even began praying to all types of gods that they knew and the new ones they just have enlightenment about.

Yue Yang, on the other hand, looked at the fire and began manipulating it. It was like he didn't hear the girl scream as he continued controlling the fires. While doing this he was wondering about many applications. When thought that he wanted to slow down the side expansion it was like the fire read his thoughts as it slowed down.

Seeing this marvelous scene he began doing another experiment but not long later the girl completely disappeared so he looked at the others and chose one of them as he continued. He controlled the fire making it take different forms as his control becomes stronger. First, he made straight lines then he began with complicated figures.

It took him an hour to torture all of them. After all, they were really weak so their souls left their bodies after a bit of pain.

After burning all of them he remembered about the secondary grimoire. So he decided to contract here. As he took it in his hand and he began hearing the same voice in his mind that asked him if he wanted to contract the secondary grimoire.

Holding the grimoire with his left hand he put the right one on top of the grimoire. As soon as his hand touched it a golden light appeared and began covering the whole place. The light was so long that he wasn't able to see its ending looking at the sky.

The silver grimoire in his hand began downgrading and in no time it became a bronze grimoire. The grimoire then began sucking his blood in a frenzy. The grimoire then began emitting a rainbow halo. He then heard the sound of two Phoenixes that began flying in the sky before returning in the grimoire.

When the divine grimoire finally disappeared he was really weakened as a lot of his blood was sucked by the grimoire. He couldn't even walk so he was forced to stay on the ground for several minutes until he could stand.

After standing he looked around as he controlled the place before leaving. He also placed a mark so he could teleport here when he needed it.

He then returned to the battlefield. He did even try to open the divine grimoire as he knew that he couldn't for now since he wasn't strong enough to do it.

Arriving at the battlefield all he could see were demon corpses all over the place. He could also see a group of humans resting. It seemed like they were waiting for him.

As soon as she saw him Yue Bing stood up and run toward him and hugged him with a happy face.

"Brother, you are finally here! Are you hurt anywhere? " She said as she looked at his whole body to see if there were any injuries.

Yue Yang smiled at her then patted her head and said, "I am fine. Don't worry about me. That weakling couldn't even hurt me."

He then pointed at his new two weapons and said, "Look! I even took his weapons as my trophy."

Finally, the other people arrived near him. While Ye Kong and co were admiring the weapons two of the 3 KS began complaining saying that he was late as it took him more than an hour to kill a demon general.

The ice guy, on the other hand, kept his mouth shut as he looked at Yue Yang. He wanted to challenge Yue Yang and beat him for what he did to his sister. But seeing how the guy came back uninjured after a battle with a demon general he was certain that all the rumors about him being weak were all fake.

Yue Yang looked at Luo Hua and said his gratitude as he knew that the only reason she was still her was that he asked her to look after Yue Bing and the others. As for the 3 KS, the must-have remained here because Luo Hua was here.

Luo Hua seeing him thanking her smiled and said, "Now you owe me a favor and when I need your help you must come. Understood?"

"You shameless guy, what are you doing here? Don't listen to him, this joker's stories are all plagiarised!" The person who rushed out from the crowd was the bright-eyed thief that Yue Yang had once flirted with.

"It doesn't matter whether or not it's plagiarised, but it sounds pretty good." Luo Hua City's Mistress laughed heartily.
