Letter to Kai (Draft)

Alex looked at Jade,who was knocked out for now.So to make sure they don't have any issues with her in the future,he decided to take her with them.

Alex held up his hand in front of his face as yellow magic appeared above his palm, before blew it towards Jade.The yellow magic appeared briefly around Jade,as she was lifted off the ground and floated into the air.

Kai was watching this with great curiosity,but he knew this is not same form of magic witches used atleast that's what he got.

Kai was genius in the field of magic,but him being a siphoner is what kept in from progressing.During his time in prison world,he has learned a lot,but this boy gave the feeling of nature and he was powerful beyond anything he has felt before.

Alex,Hope and Josie followed Kai to his base,while on the way Alex made sure to tell Caroline about this new development.

On there way Kai recognized the one of them as Caroline,being curious asked"Is there more of you?"

Kai wanted to know if their were more,since he will have to adjust his plans accordingly.

Alex answered "No, just us."

Kai nodded and led them to his home or base,while saying"Welcome. I call it Fort Parker. It's a it's a bit moldy but also rent-controlled, so I try not to complain."

He went and took some vials and with slight chuckle added" Flavored vodka? It's, uh.....It's no Zima, but then again, nothing is."

Lizzie was the first one to speak "You're our uncle."

Kai hand slightly clenched for a second hearing Uncle then with fake smile replied "Yes I am. And I knew you are the Saltzman twins. I can smell the Gemini on you both. The real question is: are you Linda or, or Joanie?....I can never tell you two apart."

Josie didn't feel irritated,since she was told Kai puts a facade,when dealing with people.So she simply replied "I'm Josie."

Lizzie was slight annoyed and with slight glare added"And my name is Lizzie."

Kai setting down some of his gear as Josie said"We are her to get you out of here."

This caught Kai off guard,he looked at them with suspicion.When they arrived here he thought they arrived here by accident,but now Kai wasn't sure and asked"What do you mean you came for me,last time I checked you father and his little gang put me here."

Josie winced hearing about her father said"This was last request from your sister and our birth mother Josette Parker."

Kai was slightly confused and asked"What??"

Alex explained"Your sister was brought back a couple of months ago by Necromancer,before going back she wanted us to free you and ask your forgiveness."

Kai now had impassive face,not betraying any emotions.

Alex could feel feel turmoil and he could tell,Kai was planning to use them to get out.But now he was taken completely off guard by this new piece of information.

Alex found it interesting that Kai Parker had lost his emotions after suffering mental persure and torture from his family,due an accidental magic similar to Arcadius,Kai was able to seal away all his emotions.But all these sealed emotions broke after his merge with Luke.

Josie seeing no emotions I'm her uncle added"Our mother even in afterlife felt guilty and responsible for what happened to you,so she wanted to ask your forgiveness."

Kai was angry hearing this a part of him wanted to yell at them,but Kai knew he had already made Jo pay.

Josie handed him as a letter.Kai took a deep breath and started reading it,the letter definitely had Jo's hand writing.

"There's something I've been

wanting to talk to you about.I know no matter what I do,you won't forgive me nor would we go back to be like when we where younger.But I care about you very much.And I know deep down you care about me

too.It's just you buried away all those emotion so they could never bother you again.

And that's why it's important that

I want to apologize,What I did to you caused irreparable damage to our relationship.I saw the look on your face when you found out I didn't have magic in me,it's like you knew I would betray you.That look haunted me through the years,every memory of our childhood started to replay in my head and I found out the fact,I always let you down by ignoring your pain and misery.The truth is,for so long,I'd forgotten what those even were.I've been stuck in one place,in a cave, you might say.

Kai was still processing everything he just read and it is just not easy for him to accept her apology,while he knew Jo was just as tortured as he was in reality carrying the guilt around.

Alex was sure Kai needed time to accept everything.
