Chapter 55

MG was sent to pick up the students from the town as the bus broke down.On his way he started talking to a girl named Nia,The girls name was Nia she is an attractive young African-American teenager with brown eyes and sporting Bohemian braids with the colors blue, red, and purple. She wore light-dark colored clothing with a tomboyish style, wearing a sport-like jacket and a Green Lantern pin.who was not only cute.But Interestingly had many common thing with MG.

When new students reached the school, upon trying to enter Nia was stunned because of the barrier.MG who guiding the students,panicked MG started having crush on her.

Alex who quickly reached the crowd was able pick up the fact the girl was monster a Gorgon to be exact and when she woke up Alex picked up a lot of projected thoughts.

MG was worried and asking"Are you okay?'

Nia with small smile replied"I am okay,it felt like I was hit by bus."

Alex who reached the crowd sensed Nia was a monster,so with waves his hand made her fall asleep,MG panicked again as Alex spoke up"Take her to the medical ward,MG."

While MG was taking away Nia,Alex whispers to Hope"Tell meet usin the headmaster's room.While I will create a barrier around the girl."

Hope nodded and went to find Freya,while Alex went after MG who was looking at sleeping Nia with concern as Alex said"MG,she will be fine we have to talk with Freya it is really important."

MG wanted to stay back,but seeing Alex was serious nodded.Alex waved his hand which glowed green in Nia's direction as strong barrier was erected around her.Also he had read her mind seeing she was sent by Ryan Clarke to get Landon only made sigh in relief at the fact Landon lost most of his powers,also he had an idea why Clarke needed Landon.

While both of them went to the headmistress room,where Hope,Hayley,Elijah and Freya were waiting for them.Freya seeing Alex questioned"So another monster tried to enter the school ground?"

Alex nodded and answered"Yes,she tried to enter the grounds as a student."

Alex turned around seeing a shocked MG,so with slight apologetic tone said"Nia is gorgon,MG."

Alex started explaining"Maybe some of out read Greek mythology Gorgons possess an ability to partially transform their hair into snakes which can then be used as extensions of their own person.They also have the ability of

Petrification: Once transformed, gorgons can petrify their targets, turning them into complete stone. When this ability is used, their eyes,turn bright purple. While Vampires are immune to such effects,while Gorgons also have the ability to remove their petrification."

MG couldn't belive this,so with wavering tone said"Alex,she is not like the other monsters.Nia is really innocent,she was really sincere."

MG had lived as the heir of Triad Industries,so he had seen many with fake smiles try to befriend.So MG knew Nia was different,not all did the she found common things with her.But also for fact MG was slowly getting over his crush on Lizzie.

Alex sighed knowing MG's situation as he replied"I don't think,she is here in her own violation."

MG saw some hope asked"So someone is forcing her."

Alex nodded and replied"Yes,her emotions during the whole time was completely wrong.I know for the fact the girl was really sincere with you.All I could get from her projected thoughts were she had to do this to free her family."

A part of MG was glad that Nia didn't deceive him about liking him,also he did feel sorry for her as Alex said"I will help her,but we must not let her go until then."

MG nodded,while others agreed to it.MG saddened by the events left,as Caroline questioned"Why did a monster come again?I mean we don't have any keys to Malivore."

Freya figured it out said"It's Landon,if I remember correctly the boy was attracted towards the keys.I bet they are trying to get him to find the keys."

Alex nodded and replied"It's one of son's of Malivore,his name is Ryan Clarke atleast the name he chose for now."

Hope with slight frown asked"Where is Landon?"

Alex answered"I have my shadow familiar watching him,he seems to go to town most of time."

Hope nodded as Hayley agreeing with Alex said"Yes,keep doing that."
