In the morning at Kei's room, the covered silhouette of three people could be seen, two of them women, who were waking up at that moment.

"Good morning" said esdeath as she looked around and upon seeing that it was Kei who was lying in the middle of the two, she only turned to lean back against a part of his chest.

"G-Good morning" replied Bozes voice a bit nervous, but when he saw kei her voice relaxed again and she did the same as esdeath.

"Those rods... is it all of their soldiers are mages?" Piña asked.

"No, that's not magic," replied lelei.

"They use weapons called pistols or rifles" explained lelei.

"Guns?" asked piña, this was more than she expected.

"The principle is simple" said lelei trying to answer piña's doubts "They enchant a cylindrical sheath with explosive magic and use it to propel a piece of lead" she explained as if it was nothing.

Piña now really didn't know what to do, what lelei said meant that at least all her soldiers had some control over magic, but this was just a guess, she had to ask the question in order to be sure.

"Do all your soldiers count on this?" asked piña, she had to be sure.

"Yes" replied lelei "the SDF created those weapons and mastered the art of fighting with firearms" lelei explained.

All this was going on in the back while kei and esdeath in the front were talking about what would happen once they arrived at the base.

Kei for his part told esdeath to let the other elves join his servants, Ciel had told him that they were somehow learning the language and now they were asking all the soldiers if there was any way they could work for him.

" Its because the empire stepped on the tail of the gryphon" Lelei said indifferent to the situation.

"How can you talk like that when the empire is in danger?" piña asked somewhat annoyed.

"I am a nomad" Lelei said calmly "the empire is none of my business" she stated.

*sigh* "Even if we take a country by force. We won't be able to take over the hearts of its people" piña said as she sat back down.

"Yes, I have to calm down The High ups and attend to the senate matter" Itami replied.

"Good luck" said kei.

While Bozes just walked behind them following them.

"Well that's new" said kei with a smile, looks like they are starting to get along better.

"I'm sorry," replied the yanida lieutenant quickly, as a bead of cold sweat trickled down his forehead.

"Eeeh!!! Do you want me to go through the portal?" tuka asked somewhat surprised.

Right now tuka, kei and Itami were at a common table that was outdoors, besides it was kei who asked the question.

"Yes, they want you to go to the other side to talk, as a representative of this world" Itami added explaining the situation.

"Besides, we will only stay for two nights, so we won't be gone for long" said kei.

"You're going too, kei?" asked tuka as her eyes sparkled.

"Of course" said kei cheerfully "Lelei and Rory will also come" he added.

"Okay" replied tuka, and even though she was already going to accept when kei said he would go, still the idea of more people she knew going made her decision even easier "just let me ask for permission from my father".

" Permission?" Kei and Itami thought tuka sounded like a little girl.

She stood up and went to one of the houses and it didn't even took five minutes before she came out with a smile on her face.
