I Remember You My Love

A ringing sound rumbled in Helena's ear after being hit by the flashbang, she saw Daniel on his knees holding his head, while the other guests lay unconscious. Helena crawled towards Daniel and shook his body

"Daniel Anderson, give me the gun" Daniel took the gun from the holster inside his vest and handed it to her. She saw him carrying gun from the beginning he sat next to her at the poker table. Helena held the Glock 19 pistol in her hand and pulling the chamber to inspect the bullets inside and releasing its safety pin, since Daniel used his body to shield Helena during the first and second explosions, he suffered minor injuries, compared to Helena who was not scratched at all.

Helena pulled Daniel behind the balcony door to protect him until he is able to start shooting, she stood leaning against the wall peering inside to be sure how many people were attacking them. At the same time Helena looked at Ethan who was slowly getting up to get cover inside near the slot machine aisle.

All of a sudden the guest are aware of the explosion started waking up and panicked , they rushed to leave the premises in terror, Ethan who was still staggering was hit from every corner and almost fell while flocked of people rushing towards him like a stampede while he held his aching head.

Ethan found a way out when his eyes collided with Helena's behind the door, his eyes widened and a hidden memory comes rushing.

"ROSE !!!"

Ethan shouted calling Helena who was stunned Ethan called her name.

Daniel who was already able to move saw the scene unfolded, Helena was still stiff looking at Ethan, a few moments later she turned her eyes away from Ethan and looked at Daniel like Ethan did not exist.

"Save your friend, take him away from here" she pleaded him.

"NO!! we are doing this together, my men will have the perpetrator corner in 2 minutes, i will distract them and you shoot" He looked at her, confident in her skill.

Helena nodded, in order to save Ethan she has to eliminate the intruders.

Daniel ran inside to attract the attention of the gas -masked man, he struggled with the first man to snatch the AR 15 semi -automatic rifle. One punches on the stomach and Daniel rips the man's mask to expose his face, from a distance Helena shoots the man in the head between his eyebrow. The bullets pass the side of Daniel cheeks grazing it just enough to form a small scratch, and next thing blood splatter by few sprays onto Daniel dusty suit from the explosion, he drew a long smile with Helena's dexterity.

"so hot !!" he bit his lip admiring Helena.

Exactly in 2 minutes, some men dressed in black came to raid and surrounded the masked men, exchange shots and bullets came flying before they are able to contain the attacks. Daryl came later with some of his subordinates equipped with weapons. He was late when he saw the group of men came in with their mask on. Helena breathed a sigh of relief to see help had arrived, she tried to ignore Ethan who was standing stiffly looking at her. Her disheveled state making her looking exhausted from the gun fight, she passed Ethan as he gripped her hand tightly.

"I remember you my love"

Helena's heart was beating the second she heard the sentence coming out of Ethan's mouth, part of her wanted to hug Ethan and take him away... but her mind knew, history would repeat itself. They are never meant to be together, fate is cruel, even if there is another life, Ethan and Helena is not meant to be..

"sorry, you got the wrong person"

Francesca Lee stands from a distance watching Helena walk away leaving Ethan and Daniel chasing her from behind, as usual all the men will flock over her, she always never get the attentions from men like how Helena is, without her even trying. Francesca face is covered in bruised and cuts from the beating she took from Matthew for defying his needs and orders. The disdain feeling she has towards Helena is obviously shown on her expression. She had a fight with Matthew about him wanting to leave her for Helena, she hated the feeling of always being a second choice. She clenched her fist, rage has consume her rationality, she lived for Matthew alone, and now he is leaving, she has nothing to lose.

Daniel felt something amiss, when he noticed Francesca hateful gazed on Helena, especially knowing Francesca is one of Matthew "toy". However he brushed the feeling thinking, Matthew was here earlier, Francesca had to come with him.

Helena was clueless about her surrounding sees Daryl who has a beard and a mustache making him look rough, she understands why Daryl did the things he did before ,so she wants to apologize to him and wanted to amend their friendship, she will embrace her life as it is from now and accepting the fact slowly her normal is not ordinary people normal, looking around she knows in seconds police will be swarming over this place, they will need to leave so they wont be blowing their identity.

Francesca rushed in front of Helena and before Daniel prevent it, she stabbed Helena with a knife to her neck. Helena was too occupied with the thoughts of her friendship with Daryl that she neglected rule #1 The Cabal taught them, never let your guard down.

No one had anticipated this incident, Daniel as fast as lightning catching Helena who was holding her neck with blood gushing from falling to the ground. Daryl jumped to break Francesca who was screaming like a madman, her beaten bruised face was twisted, and she screams bloody murder, proud of herself to finally able to kill Helena.
