Three weeks later....

Helena remained unconcious when Eleanor left for the day, she insist to stay and accompanied Helena in the hospital, however her exhaustion has caused her blood pressure spiked and she need to be well rested in order to regain energy to take care of Helena. After spending the entire day with Helena, her body felt quite sore therefore she needed to leave and will be back tomorrow. There are so many words that she spoke with her daughter, from the memory when she was a child and how she was glad that their relationship mended after her accident few months ago.

Shortly after Eleanor left, Helena's eyes open slowly with tears streaming down to her cheek. She has been faking asleep the entire time her mother was there, She felt numb in her legs after laying down excessively long, fortunately, she does not have any blisters on her back due to laying. She started crying recalling the memory she gained while being unconscious added with what her mother talked to her in her state of unconciousness.

"It all make so much sense" she talked to herself aggresively wiping her tears from being discovered. Her childlike cries was heart wrenching to see, clasping her chest, she realized her entire life was a big lie. In every alternate world, the story line, the players and the plot remain similar. It will come down to her to change the course of this life. She will not be brash and will plan this journey meticolously, not even the devil will take what is hers this time.

The door was opened and Daryl Koo walked in alone watching her wiping her tears.

"Helena! You are awake!!"

He shut the door and ran to give her a hug. Cupping her cheek, Daryl Koo smiled looking at his best friend regained her consciousness.

He saw she was crying and raised his hand to wipe her tears when Helena tilted her head slightly to a side. Her eyes starring dagger at him before he took a few steps back leaning on the wall behind him. His smile faded replaced with a sinister smirk.

"You are my f@#$ng handler" it is not a question but rather a statement was given by Helena towards Daryl Koo that was not showing any signs of surprised. In returns, he seems to be genuinely happy and relief about it.

"I was wondering when your memory will be back! i am beyond tired babysitting your bratty ass" gone the supposed friendship that she thought they have. They did maintain the friendship for an act, to make it easier for them to meet without raising a suspicion.

She was 18 when she was involved in this type of lifestyle. Her status as a rich heiress made it even easier for her to be around any target that they needed her to infiltrate. The group she joined that was supposed to be for fun turn into a walking daylight nightmare for her. For what she thought was an innocent pact has caused her the reputation and her relationship with her mother.

"Get out! I need to rest"

"Welcome back! Im sure our boss would love to see you, he hasnt seen you in months since your suicide attempt" disdain filling the ajr as soon as Daryl spoke of the attempted she made on her life.

Lowering his head to her ear,

"Dont try anyting funny Helena, we will kill your mom this time, you might have fooled us last time that you hated her, but not this time"

Helena titled her head again, felt disgusted by them. Her last target was Matthew Long, she followed him around to obtain an information once she was done, they promise her that will be her last target until they hand her Daniel Anderson folder.

Thats when she killed herself not able to keep up with the facade any longer. She knew she would not be able to leave the oranizations, making her choose to ended the life once and for all.

"Deal with anything at your house, find those that poison you, if you were dropping dead somewhere, we do not want it to get back to us" he grabbed her chin forcing her to look up to him before shoving it away when he heard a knocked from the outside.

Wiping her tears, she smiled allowing the person to come in.

Instead of Eleanor likenhow both of them suspected, its surprisingly Daniel walking with Troy next to him that was agape seeing Helena up close.

Daryl hugged Helena tightly again and whispering to her to play nice and remember her last assignment. Now that she get her memory back, their boss would want the matters to be resolved once and for all so they can all get their payment.

"Young Master Anderson, Hel, i will let you guys chat, im needed at the E. R now"

"Thank you Dr Koo". Troy opening the door for Daryl before following him leaving the room letting Daniel and Helena to have a chat. Daniel slept in the hospital room almost everynight to keep an eye on her while Eleanor at home. Daryl koo knew that the almighty Daniel Anderson is taking an interest with Helena, nonetheless this will be the perfect opportunity for them. He hated staying in the city any longer.

Daniel was looking at Helena closely he can sees her weight dropped significantly and her eyes are empty, there is no light to it. Like an empty shell, hollow....

"Why are you here?" Helena asked Daniel that was sitting across from her. Her heart cried seeing in two lives she lived, all destined for her to betrayed him in the end.

"I felt bad for you, mishaps after mishaps happened to you. Ms Lee".

"Mr Anderson, if you have no business here, please leave!"

As soon as she was awake, she noticed a cctv was placed in the room hidden at the corner on the flower vase at the table. She was being watched by someone somewhere. She needed to regroup and find somewhere to craft her plan and assume no one can be trusted. Not gaining any memory from this Helena previously was a disadvantages for her. Her relationship with her mother has been discovered and now it is being use as a leverage.

She must find a way to secure her mother safety, but not even in the Lee's villa is safe. An idea popped in her mind to settle things one at a time. She assumed she was monitored closely before, otherwise Daryl would not believe her amnesia and that was why he played along as a loving best friend.

"I know why you are here?"

"Please do tell" Daniel wants Helena to say it, that way he can saves himself from telling her.

"You felt guilty after i called you out when Alice framed me, isnt it?"

His face fell upon hearing it.

"Yes, thats why.."

He is annoyed that Helena ability to see that he wanted her is definitely zero.

"Fine, then compensate me, isnt it what you always do?"

"what do you want? marriage?" he spoke casually secretly hoping its that one.

Helena was startled and her eyes glint with mischief.
