Chapter 7 : Who is That.....?

"Arghhh!...Grrrr!....."

Lee who was asleep for a while woke up In an Instance as soon as he heard the sound which is familiar to him at this point

*pant* *huff* *pant*

 He tried standing up but with the sound of a walker he heard someone panting he looked In the direction of It and found Alexis who was leaning on a wooden door which she with a desk trying to keep It close but was struggling a lot

It was clear that on the other side of this door there are quite a few walkers who are capable of breaking in by force any minute

 "Al-Alexis!"

Lee who ran towards her and held her to sit on the ground near to the door, It was clear that she had exhausted herself by keeping this door close and not letting those all-time-hungry-beasts Inside

She was sweating a lot as her white shirt which had some blood stain from the Incident which occurred In the grocery shop was now wet with sweat

"Le-Lee, there are walker's out there, they have been trying to get in here for so long"

Alexis who have been keeping the door close with her hands and the wooden desk which was nearby to the door had been at it for an hour without rest at all as Lee was Unconscious for all this time

She tried calling for help to him but he didn't respond on that moment she blamed the situation, she blamed destiny, she blamed the decision of going to the gun store with Lee, and she blamed. . . Lee

She blamed him for not protecting her when she needed him at the Grocery store, She blamed him for not waking up when he Is needed to close this door, and She blamed him for not having any weapons on him so she could protect her

She thought that all the time she had been collecting food with complete precision he who went to the gun shop didn't bring a single weapon since she checked his pockets and couldn't find anything

Even though in such a short timespan she had grown a some affection towards him but the situation where she could die is right behind this door

Even...Even though she knows that he did his best In terms of saving her In that shop and running through all that horde of walker's and found this secluded place which Is lot safer than the City Itself

'Ah....'

Still even after having all those bitter thoughts In her mind about Lee, when he placed her on the ground and started pushing the door, she stared Into his Vibrant Blue eyes and felt like how stupid she can be for blaming him, Instead she started blaming herself for being like that when she was so weak herself

"Alexis, I know you're tired but can you open the shutter when I tell you to?"

Lee who wasn't aware of Alexis's thoughts started to think of the ways to get out of this situation

What he had planned on was to run out of this place with Alexis

He could tell that this door can't hold on for much longer as the force from the outside Is Increasing which could only mean one thing, The walker's numbers are Increasing so he planned to make a break out of this place since there was no way he can take on a Horde of walker's all on his own

He didn't thought that Alexis was useless but he knew that she isn't competent either when it comes to killing these walker's so the best way to get out of this situation is to run and find a way in the city to get Clementine and Sandra and leave Atlanta

"What? but there're walker's out there"

"Don't worry, we will run and get to Clementine and Sandra just get the bag of food with you"

Lee didn't wanted to waste much time so he started push the door with his back and throw a gun towards Alexis

"Here, be careful"

Alexis wanted to ask about where has he been keeping this gun but after seeing how much he Is struggling she didn't waste time and picked up the bag full of food and went towards the Shutter gate she held Its handle and looked towards Lee to get his command

'Alright, from this point on, my survival will depend on my quick thinking and lot of luck'

He saw that there are 15 points he can add to his stats, he put 10 points in his Stamina and 5 points in his Agility

He thinks that the reason he collapse before Is because he doesn't have enough stamina so he didn't want to take any chances, He truly was grateful to Alexis that she hold for this long and protected him while he was out cold, He didn't want to put her In such situation

 Lee shouted and ran towards the shutter leaving the door which was closed only because of the desk right now

 Alexis as soon as she got the command opened the shutter and ran outside with her gun and the bag on her back

 Lee got out of the Mechanic shop and closed the shutter as he was closing it he could see that the walkers have managed to broke the door and invade the Mechanic shop

 Then he started catching up to Alexis who was running opposite to the city which wasn't out of fear or panic It was because the way to enter the city Is filled with walker's so she ran opposite to find another way to get In

 Outside on the dark night, on the empty road they were running from the walker's which were quite far that's when they noticed a car parked In front of them on the road which was facing towards them 

 "Alexis get into the car, we will force our way into the city and get Clementine and Sandra"

 Lee while explaining his plan to Alexis ran and entered the driving seat Alexis followed and sat on the seat beside him

 Alexis wanted to ask him about how he is going to drive this car without keys, but didn't say anything as she saw him removing the plastic trim of the steering and pulling some wire which he stripped and twisted them together and car's engine started

 She felt amazed about that as she only saw that in the movies

 "Wear the Seatbelts"

 Lee wear his seatbelts and told her do so and peddled the accelerator and raced towards the Clementine's place

 While on the way they did hit some walkers but that didn't budge car or Lee

 'Man Is Police Officer's cars weak or something, With this car I may have hit more than 10 walker's till now and I'm still driving but that old man hit one and got us crashed. . .and Died, I hope you're In the better place'

 Lee drove to the road which the police officer took him from and with Alexis ran towards the wooden wall, which didn't go peacefully as not meeting walker's In a place like this Is Inevitable, though he already told her that and was ready for It as well they kept looking out for each other's back and got the wall

 Lee helped Alexis to get over the wall and as she was carrying something in her hands then Lee got over the wall with food bag which Alexis filled at the grocery shop

 Lee didn't felt any fatigue instead he felt quite refreshed

 Alexis ran towards the backdoor of Clementine's house she opened the glass and found Clementine and Sandra at the Front door peeking outside, they were waiting for Lee to come back as he was gone for a whole day

 They heard the sound of glass door opening and looking there as they thought it may be a threat but Clementine and Sandra both teared up at the sight of Alexis and ran to hug her

She placed what she was carrying in her hand on the sofa and embraced both of them

Sandra was happy to see her mother safe while clementine felt happy for both Sandra and Alexis

After some small talk and question they noticed Lee, Sandra was grateful to him which she showed by pulling him In Embrace and thanking him 

Clementine and Alexis looked at that sight with a smile on their faces that when Clementine pointed out something which they Ignored because they were having a chat with Alexis

"So, Who Is that Kid?"

Clementine said while pointing at the Kid which was sleeping on the sofa, the thing which Alexis was carrying for all that time was a Kid
