As Gojo walked towards the lights, the voices he heard grew louder and more distressed. Crying, pleading, terrified screams rent the night air.
He picked up his pace, dashing silently between the trees towards the source of the commotion.
Soon he came upon a large clearing in the forest.
Gojo swiftly climbed a tall pine to observe from above unseen.
What he saw gave him exclaim "Wow!" in awe.
A small village lay in chaos below, thatched roof homes aflame and people running for their lives.
But it was not the fires that threatened them most - a pack of enormous wolves roamed the outskirts, at least three times the size of any wolf Gojo had seen before.
"Real Fucking Monsters!! YAY!"
Their fur was matted and mange-ridden, jaws slavering with hunger and malice.
"Hmm?"
Two figures clad in rusty armor fought valiantly to fend off the beasts, wielding dented swords against fangs and claws.
"Adventurers huh,"
But they were outnumbered, driven back towards the gates of the village by the marauding pack.
More villagers would be killed if nothing was done.
"Perfect for my 1st debut in this Fantasy world~"
Gojo smiled, examining the beasts below with skilled eyes.
Their power was impressive, but none could match a Special Grade like himself.
This would be an easy elimination. "Let's show off a bit..." He cracked his knuckles,
The Adventurer Cloe with a short sword leaped on the Wolf Monster but the wolf moved and bit her hand.
"Guahhh!!!!!" Cloe let out an agonized shriek as the wolf sunk its teeth into her sword hand.
She watched in horror as her blood started pumpin' out, coatin' her arm in a sickening red mess. No matter how hard she thrashed and pulled, the wolf had a death grip on her.
Its teeth dug in deeper with every jerk, grindin' bone and rippin' muscle. The pain was overwhelmin', black dots dancin' in front of her eyes.
"Cloe!" shouted her companion Albert.
"NO!" Albert hollered in a panic, but he knew it was too late to help.
A chill ran down his spine as he felt somethin' loomin' behind. He spun around just in time to come face to face with another monstrosity - a snarlin' wolf as big and scary as the first.
Foam flecked its jowls as its mouth yawned wide, rank spit hangin' off its dagger teeth. Soon those fangs would be sunk into his quiverin' flesh.
Albert fumbled for his beat-up shield on instinct alone, knowin' full well the flimsy thing couldn't save him from such savage beasts.
This was it for him.
As the wolf reared back to strike, Albert slammed his eyes shut and braced for the agony. With Cloe's screams still ringin' in his ears, he knew the wolf's teeth would tear open his guts next, spillin' em out in the dirt along with his life.
'Ain't no escapin' this mess.'
But the impact never came. Albert slightly opened his eyes, confused. When he saw what was in front of him, he opened his eyes wide in shock.
Standing between Albert and the wolf was a tall man with white hair, clad in all black.
His back was turned to Albert, but he could see powerful muscles rippling beneath the fabric.
The wolf that had been ready to kill Albert just moments ago was now lying lifeless on the ground. Its enormous chest had a gaping hole torn through flesh and bone.
In one fist, the man held something dripping and purple - the wolf's still-beating heart.
Before Albert could speak, the man turned his head slightly to glance over his shoulder. Though his face was partially obscured, Albert could see piercing Blue eyes that seemed to glow with an inner light.
After killing the monster wolf, Gojo looked down at his blood-spattered robes in dismay. "Oh man, I should have worn a rain coat. Now all my clothes smell like blood," he commented.
Albert stared at him in confusion. Was this man...jokinn'? The way he casually remarked on the gore covering his outfit like it was nothin'.
'Yo, dis dude just made a joke bout da mess? Madness!' Albert thought, forgetting everything. (A/N: This man has a thick Street Accent)
Before Albert could question it further, another monster wolf burst from the treeline, fangs bared as it leaped at Gojo from behind.
"Hey, watch yo'self!" Albert yelled, throwing his hands up.
Gojo glanced lazily over his shoulder. "Oh? Don't need ta worry bout dese lil puppies." He matched Albert's thick accent.
As the wolf closed in, Gojo snapped his hand back with lightning speed.
There was a deafening crack as his open palm collided with the side of the wolf's head. Its skull caved in instantly from the force of the blow.
The headless wolf dropped lifeless to the ground with blood gushing like a fountain from it.
"Here" Gojo lowered his hand, seemingly unbothered by the gruesome act.
The other monster wolves halted their attacks on the villagers as they caught sight of Gojo. Their demeanor instantly changed - hackles raised and tails tucked, they slowly backed away from him, cowering in fear.
The villagers who had managed to flee inside the nearby church building watched the scene with bated breath from the windows. What power did this strange blue-haired man possess to instill such terror in the ferocious beasts?
The wolves growled and snapped at Gojo, but none dared approach him. It was clear his overwhelming strength commanded their respect, and survival instincts told them to flee.
Gojo regarded them with mild amusement. He had only wanted to kill some monsters for entertainment before playing the hero. But these persistent creatures were irritating him now.
Suddenly, a massive wolf emerged from the pack, easily twice the size of the others. Its gray fur was matted with scars and its eyes burned with feral intelligence. The other wolves circled away from it, clearing a wide berth.
Gojo's interest was piqued. Could this be their leader? He cracked his knuckles, a playful grin crossing his lips. "Well, let's see if you can provide me more of a challenge than your underlings."
The massive Alpha wolf let out a roar that shook the ground.
It pawed at the ground, staring down Gojo with primal hatred. But underneath its fury, a twinge of fear sparked in its eyes.
It sensed this man was unlike any prey it had faced before.
Gojo remained relaxed, hands in his pockets. "Come now, I haven't got all day. Show me what you've got."
With another rage-filled howl, the Alpha charged. Its massive paws thundered against the earth as it closed the distance in an instant.
"It's over..." The villagers gasped, certain this beast would tear Gojo apart.
Yet when the Alpha swung its claws, Gojo was no longer there.
He had blurred away at the last moment, too fast for normal eyes to track.
The wolf whipped around in confusion, just in time to see Gojo's fist collide with its snout.
"Where You looking at!" Bones cracked under the force of the blow and the Alpha reeled back with a pained yelp.
But it was far from done. Shaking off the hit, it launched another barrage of slashes and bites. Gojo evaded each attack with fluid ease, practically dancing around the wolf's ferocity.
The villagers stared in awe at Gojo's inhuman reflexes and strength. He was toying with the Alpha, drawing out their battle for amusement rather than finishing it quickly.
Enraged, the wolf grew sloppy. It left openings that Gojo easily exploited. A well-placed kick here, a chop to the spine there.
As the massive wolf's body flew through the air from Gojo's powerful kick, he sighed in boredom. "I think that's enough stretching for now."
He raised his hand and in an instant, the area was engulfed by a blinding crimson light. "Reverse Red!"
A vortex of red energy shot forth from Gojo's palm towards the vulnerable Alpha. The villagers and remaining wolves cried out and shielded their eyes from the searing brightness.
When the light faded, all that remained of the giant beast was a pile of ashes drifting in the wind. The Reverse Red had obliterated it in the blink of an eye.
The villagers gazed on in dread and wonder at Gojo's fearsome power. A single technique from this man was enough to erase something as mighty as the Alpha wolf completely.
The surviving wolves whimpered and cowered, horrified by the fate of their fallen leader.
Any will to continue fighting had vanished from their eyes. They knew challenging this invincible human would mean sharing the Alpha's grim fate.
"D-did he won....."
"... The Monster is Dead.."
"..H-He killed it... HE KILLED IT!"
"YEAH! THE MONSTER IT DEAD!"
"He must be a hero sent by the gods!"
"Here! Hero! Hero"x11
The onlookers cheered as Gojo emerged victorious.
