Chapter 74 - Everyday Life with a Dark Slime

"So it's best to get this out now.", I said, "You haven't formally met, but-"

"Who are you homewreckers?!", Juvia shouted, "Juvia thinks you should go away!"

"Who ya callin a homewrecker!?", Loki refuted, "I ain't lettin no big boobed hussy chase me off!"

Seeing the sparks already start flying between them, I got in between them to put an end to it. The Goddesses would be throttled by them before they knew what hit them.

"ENOUGH!", I shouted to stop them before this got physical, "Juvia, they are not homewreckers. Ishtar, Freya, Loki, Hestia, Ristarte, and Aqua are my girlfriends same as all of you. I hadn't introduced you yet as they can be a handful when they visit other worlds."

Explaining things to them, I wanted to make it clear I had kept this a secret till now solely because I didn't want to involve them with my otherworldly activities. Now that the cat was out of the bag, I introduced them to one another. The Goddesses weren't the least bit bothered by this development, but I could tell the other group wasn't so easily swayed.

"So this has been going on for a while?", Irene asked, "Have you been running back to these...women?"

"You know damn well it's not like that. I have a job to do, and that is to make sure the current four worlds I am in charge of don't fall apart.", I told her with a serious look.

Sharing the events that Clark had told me with them, everyone seemed a bit skeptical of what I was saying. None of them had seen it personally so I guessed that was fair, the troubling part was that the Goddesses didn't know about the events either. They had been around for thousands of years, and that event happened before that.

'Jeez...how fucking old is Clark!?', I thought.

"So you basically jump between worlds helping people?", Lucy questioned, "I know there is more to it, but that is the main point of your duties."

"Yes", I said motioning to Sirzechs and the other women, "These people here are from worlds I haven't been to yet, and will eventually be visiting. Unfortunately I have to wait for Levy and Hermione to finish something for me to locate their exact worlds again. Right now there are thousands of worlds where they are missing so finding the exact one they came from is a big problem."

Nodding their heads, the Fairy Tail women looked at the Goddesses. Sizing them up again, they seemed to relax a bit more.

"And these six are the only other women?", Sorano asked, "No others we should know about?"

"No, there are three more that neither group has met. They are currently on a world that seems to have had little influence from other worlds. For the time being I would like to keep them in the dark till I think they are ready to hear the truth.", I said scratching the back of my head, "Right now they are in the middle of training so now isn't the best time to tell them."

Staring at me for a second, they accepted that answer and let it go. Seeing why I would keep something like that a secret, they asked me to not hiding things from them in the future. Agreeing to do so, since there wasn't really anything else to tell at this point, everything seemed to calm down between them.

"Well then, it's nice to meet you.", Minerva said offering her hand to Freya, "I hope we can get along."

"Of course, we have no interest in keeping him for ourselves. It's not uncommon for a God to have many women in their harems. In fact, Mael's is actually quite small given his power.", Freya stated with a smile.

Shaking hands and introducing themselves to each other, the atmosphere lighten allow us to proceed with our plans. Cloaking the Goddesses so people wouldn't see them, I decided to lay down some ground rules for everyone's safety.

"Alright, the Goddesses have to stay near me as you aren't fighters.", I spoke, "The Elite Team will be starting at Floor 45 and the rest of us will-"

"Hehe...you can't fight?", Erza giggled, "Why are you coming with us then? This isn't a sightseeing tour, this is a training exercise."

Not finding that funny, the Goddesses stared at her.

"So what if we can't? Mael doesn't care if we do or don't.", Loki stated.

"Juvia thinks Mael likes strong women.", Juvia said with a smirk as she pushed out her chest, "And ones with curves."

Since this was going to be a while, I turned to the Familias to have them double check their gear. Once they gave me the thumbs up, I opened a portal and let the Familia Teams enter so they could begin their trek on the 45th Floor. We'd eventually catch up to them, and would work together from then on. Opening a portal to Floor Twenty for the rest of us, I turned back to everyone else and cleared my throat.

"Ahem, shall we?", I asked motioning to the portal.

Losing interest in their argument, the Goddesses rushed through to the other side. Having relieved some of their stress, at the expense of Loki, the Fairy Tail women followed suit with the others.

"You have some interesting lovers.", Sirzechs said with a grin.

"They keep life interesting, never a dull moment with them.", I chuckled walking through the portal with him.

Getting to the other side, I found the six deities looking all around the room. They seemed to be fascinated with the smallest things they found here.

"So this is what the Dungeon looks like!", Loki gasped as she fumbled around in some rocks, "This place is pretty cool!"

"I have to admit it looks better than I expected.", Freya said.

"It's a lot quieter too.", Aqua remarked, "I thought there were supposed to be a lot of monsters?"

Getting a quick headcount, I warned everyone to be wary of traps and ambushes. Letting them get their bearings, I laid down some ground rules for them. One of the biggest rules was keeping the damage to the Dungeon itself to a minimum, the Dungeon would spawn a Juggernaut if they damaged it too much. Saying it was just a formality, but knowing how destructive the Fairy Tail women were...we'd probably see three Juggernaut's a day.

"Above all else, don't forget everything in here is going to try to kill you. No matter what, don't go running-", I started to say as Shera bolted off seeing a monster to kill.

"I call dibs!", Shera giggled.

"Damn it!", Ryuu groaned.

Chasing after her, Ryuu told her to stay with the group. Letting out a sigh, Merlin and Yasaka patted me on the shoulders. Telling me that she had a lot of energy to burn, I should just let Ryuu take care of her for the time being. Agreeing to that, I was going to lead the group forward when Shera came running back screaming like a scared animal.

"There is a giant bug!!", she shrieked as she jumped onto me, "I hate bugs!!"

Seeing a pack of Bugbears roaming nearby, I told her they were actually bears. Refuting that, she said they had bug wings which made them bugs in her eyes.

"This should be a good warm up.", Erza said with a smile.

"Agreed, it's time for some fun!", Shion agreed cracking her knuckles.

Seeing the two of them grin at each other, they were the first to to dash forwards to fight. Following after them the others dove into the fight, and the noise attracted many more monsters for them to fight. Watching Erza throw some of them around like stuffed animals, I kind of felt bad for the Dungeon. These people were abnormal in every way so this would be a long day for it.

Watching the women beat the monsters to death with magic, the deities were stunned to find that all of them were mages. Telling them that it wasn't uncommon on there world, I told them about the Church and Mage Hunter issues they had up until recently.

"They sound quite boorish.", Ishtar stated, "They should let the mages do as they please so long as they don't harm anyone."

"That's what I am hoping to convince the King. I want to eliminate some Dark Guilds to force a meeting with the King and Magic Council. My goal is to free the Mages from being so restricted.", I said.

"Are you slow pokes coming?", Lisanna teased us.

"I am no slow poke!", Shera said letting go of me.

Running off to fight with them, the Goddesses and I followed behind them keeping an eye on things.

---3rd Person POV, Unknown World---

"My creator told me to find Slimes, but I am not seeing any.", the Dark Slime Fragment said as it bounced along the sidewalk.

Having seen many nonhuman species living among humanity, the Slime was surprised to see them coexisting. The bejumbled memories it had suggested that normally humanity would have killed them long before ever letting them stay in their homes with them. What was clear though was that the humans and nonhumans that where living together had an interest in one another.

'I hope you all die.', the fragment thought, 'How dare you flaunt your happiness!! When we rise to the top, we will have all the ladies we want!!'

Feeling the negative emotions the Slime was giving off, people got out of it's way not wanting to get involved with it. As the Slime was looking for it's own kind, a group of nonhumans pulled up in a car in front of it.

"We seriously got called out for a slime..?", a zombie woman said, "Today was my day off, and I got dragged in for a Slime?!"

"It's a demihuman still, we still have to treat it properly.", the only human in the group replied, "You ladies get it, I am staying in the car."

"Come here Slime-chan!", a giant Ogre woman said kneeling down towards it.

"HOLY SHIT!! YOUR KNOCKERS ARE HUGE!!", the Slime shouted in delight.

Staring at the Slime in shock, even Ms. Smith dropped her coffee in disbelief. Looking at it with a frozen expression, Tio swung her fist down in anger.

"Don't make fun of my weight!", she cried.

Taking the blow, the Slime took the opportunity to try and slip away.

"Come back here you pervert!!", the zombie woman shouted.

Chasing after the Slime, it laughed like an idiot and taunted them. Leading them down several streets, the chase came to an end when it ran into an absentminded human. Before it could hurl an insult at him, it's pursuers caught up and threw it in a jar.

"Thank you Boyfriend-san!", Tio said.

"Boyfriend!?", the Slime gasped, "How dare you try to take my property!! I will kill you!!"

"That's not very nice!", Tio remarked as she shook the jar violent.

"STOP!! I AM GOING TO DIE!!", the Slime cried.

Stopping after a few minutes, the Slime stayed silent and listened to the conversation. It's pursuers followed the human back to his residence, and that was where the Slime saw the very first Slime on this world. Bouncing around with excitement, it tried talking to the other Slime but she completely ignored it.

"You think it ate a bunch of poisonous stuff like Suu did that one time, darling?", a Lamia asked the human.

"It must be, I haven't seen a slime that dark of a color before.", a Centaur woman said.

Looking at all the nonhuman women around the human, it came to one conclusion.

"Human scum!! You dare flaunt your harem in front of me!!", the Slime spat.

"Harem?", the human replied.

"No no no, Darling is only mine!", the Lamia said wrapping her tail around him.

Watching the chaos unfold as the residents of the home started fighting over him, the Slime just sat there confused by what he was seeing. The harems in his memories showed the men telling the women what to do, this human was being tossed around like a ragdoll. Deciding to just place it safe and observe for now, the Slime heard a loud crunch as the human bend in an unnatural way.

"Darling!!", the Lamia shouted.

"You did it again...", the Arachne woman sighed.

Watching them scramble to fix him, the Slime started to wonder if this world was worth taking over. Catching sight of the Ogre's rack again, the Slime confirmed it was while laughing like an idiot again.
