Assault on the bandit camp part 3

Another bandit fall to the ground so far we have taken down about twenty bandits total. They are trying to focus on Rex more because he is playing whack a mole. They are more terrified of him. Louie is timing his shots trying not to reveal where he is shooting from. Dan is keeping close to Rex to lighten the amount of enemies he's dealing with. Me and Jorge are watching each other backs. I use a sheild to block the bandits axe. I don't want to reveal that I came make any weapon so I stuck with a one handed sword and sheild. I push back the bandit and my sword started to be engulfed in darkness. I used a shadow magic spell called shadow slash. The bandit didn't expect me to use magic and his upper half slid off. The battle is going on well. The next thing that happens is a fire ball started to come towards me i raise my shield just in time but I do take some damage. A lady in red with red hair and a bald man appears.

Ashley: so you are the adventurers that's causing us trouble. I don't like it when someone causes trouble for me. It means I have to punish you.

She raise her left hand and a fire ball appears and it launches it again I block it. The bald man charges with maces in each hand and at the same time but a medium size rock came towards him but he dodges it. Using the same strategy as these two Jorge charge at the bald man. Dan started to change the woman in red and I followed. The match up was Rex and Jorge vs the bald man and me and Dan vs the woman in red.

Ashley: so its a 2v1. Well let me introduce ourselves. The bald man over there is Vaughn and I'm Ashley.

Kevin:( so the leaders decided to show themselves)

Ashley: you know this is the part where you introduce yourselves but we are going to kill you so it doesn't matter.

The fight begins Ashley surrounds herself with six small baseball size fire balls. The fire balls start to launch and more are take it place while me and Dan use our sheilds to block it. I point my sword at her and launch a spell called bolt it a is the 2nd fastest of all the lighting spell i have but it doesn't do that much damage. Ashley was surprised by this but she created a fire sheild and was push back a little. She is quick she then use the fire shield and turn it into a basketball size fire ball and launches it. I had a bad feeling so I jump to the side and the fire ball exploded unlike the others. Dan uses the smoke of the explosion to get close. Then more fire balls launches at him but he's using the battle instinct skill so blocking and dodging was easy he was almost in striking range. Ashley then created another large fire ball and launches it at close range she flew back. (She use the explosion to make distance. She is willing to damage herself to hurt us). She smiled because she did a fair amount of damage she dealt to Dan. She didn't realize that what she did was bad for her. All of a sudden Adam came from the sky he must have used the light armor skill and jump from the building. He slash the back of Ashley. At the same time some of the slaves appear and took on some of the bandits. She then turned around and sent four fire balls at him and getting ready a large one. The fire balls hit Adam and I was worried since his defenses was down it would do great damage to him but as the fire balls hit he shatters like glass and he reappeared to her right. As she aims at Adam again a arrow hits her right hand it redirects the attack at the man named Vaughn. Then it launches at him.

Ashley: Vaughn watch out!

Vaughn was having trouble with Rex and Jorge. Rex had high defenses abilities and Jorge keep his distance between the two. As there battle went on he has some scratches that weren't fatal but he has use a lot of stamina to dodge Rex's monster attacks. He hears Ashley's warning as he was about to get out of the way his feet are in cased in ice. The ice trail leads to the same direction where the large fire ball is coming from.

Vaughn: Ashley some of the slaves are escaping though the south gate.

As he say that before he was considered by the flames. After the spell ended his body was burnt and falls to the ground then Rex raises his poleaxe and brings it down. After that Ashley saw that and she went berserk.

Ashley:aaahhhhhh! How dare you bastards making me do that. I'm going to make sure that only ashes remain.

She creates another large fire ball but she raises it above her head and smaller fire balls are launches in every direction. I decided to use telepathy to tell every my brothers, Kaidan and the freed slaves

Kevin: everyone take cover!

As Ashley launches fire balls everywhere even hitting her own allies and light the near by buildings on fire. The slaves that were fighting a couple got hit and the others found cover and the ones fleeing keep running to the exit but one of them trips and fell. Kaidan then turns back and Ashley looks at Kaidan knowing that he was the reason Vaughn couldn't get out of the way she throws the ball of fire at them. I ran using light armor and getting ready so cast a shadow spell as well as turning my current sheild into a one that covers my entire body. I stood in front of the fire ball i switch from light armor to heavy armor i was pushed back a couple of feet. I waved for Kaidan and the rabbit beastman to run. I moved forward and my brothers start to surround Ashley.

Ashley: you damn adventurers you think you can defeat me im not dying here!

As she said that she creates a fire tornado around herself. We all backed up and getting ready to attack the moment the tornado drops. After a few seconds the tornado ends but Ashley is no longer here. She disappeared the only thing I can think of is she used her fire magic to fly up the eye of the tornado and fled. While keeping my guard up I look around a lot of the bandits were killed from the fire Ashley made. I guess sensing the danger is over all the slaves started to walk towards us. There are about were twenty-three people four adults, twelve teenagers and seven kids. I noticed the there are various beastman and elves but no humans it looks like they are waiting for something. Kaidan walks up to me.

Kaidan: ummm I want to say thank you for saving me and my friend. I also think everyone is waiting to find out what happens next.

I pat his head and I decided to take everyone to the temple but will they follow me. So ill use telepathy to tell them what is going on.

Kevin: everyone my name is Kevin and I want to take you to my base which is around an hour walk from here. I know you don't know me but I can honestly say you can trust me.

Female elf 1: why are you using telepathy? Also where are you going to take us and why should we trust you.

Male elf: if they were bad they wouldn't have free us from those cages.

Female elf 2: and sister that man in black also saved you from being killed.

Female elf 1:Your right. Sorry but please answer the questions

Kevin: it's fine. To answer your questions first is im a golem and I don't have a mouth and two its a temple that me and my brothers are from.

To show them the truth I removed my hood and the cloth around where my mouth would have been. Some of the slaves were scared but seeing Kaidan stand next to me they calmed down. I hear Kaidan about to say something but he stops before saying anything it look like time froze.

???: I did freeze time.

I turn around to see a well dressed man that almost looks like a butler and he is holding a pocket watch that is glowing blue and a woman with a punk girl outfit the hole fish nets, boots up to her knees and black jacket the hole shebang.
