After the unexpected attack, 11 guardians escorted High Priestess Maria and several other important staff members through a hidden secret exit located behind the grand altar.

They moved swiftly through an abandoned, unused room constructed a decade ago for the cathedral's most important figures following a particular incident. This passage led them underground, emerging on the surface of the city far from the cathedral, ensuring their safety.

After evacuating them from the cathedral in a matter of minutes, the guardians swiftly carried them to safety, with the cathedral now a distant silhouette behind them.

They arrived at a popular nearby inn, where Misa, their leader, tossed a dozen gold coins onto the counter.

The innkeeper, grinning widely, quickly handed over a key chain with enough keys for everyone. Misa snatched it and ensured everyone was safely settled in their rooms.
