After Almira left the room, a deep silence and stillness dominated the room. Lucifer looked into Aiden's face as she was still kneeling on the floor. Aiden was staring at the door and seemed to be standing in deep thought.
Because Lucifer felt sorry for Aiden, she decided to postpone helping him for the time being. She thought she needed to help Aiden clear his mind and make him realise that what they are going to do is not wrong.
She will help him no matter what, and if she could really treat him, she would. But she knew that it was wrong to force such a young and pure child with such gestures. So, while Aiden could still hold on, she had to clear his mind first.
Lucifer stood up and sat next to Aiden. Aiden was startled for a moment as Lucifer stood up and turned to look at her. Just as Lucifer was about to speak, Aiden spoke. "Miss Lucifer, we shouldn't, really shouldn't. … I would rather die than do something like that."
