Chapter 82: Revelations

*One year prior*

"Aiyaah!" I shout as I delivered the final strike onto my opponent who gets sent flying. My clothes were ripped patches of dirt could be seen on it along with a heavy downpour of sweat running down my body, which was covered in burns and bruises.

I Fa Ken finally did it, it was by hair's breath but I was finally able to defeat Zi Quan.

I looked down onto the young master who gave me much trouble in the past. I might not have broken through much on cultivation, but the body cultivation techniques gave me were amazing!

Zi Quan struggled to get up, I expected him to keep fighting but he just sneered at me and walked away.

"Enjoy your victory, it shall be your last!" he says before walking away.

"Ow!" I yell while Fa Lin dresses my wounds. I then tried to chastise her but. "Hey Fa Lin can you be a bit more gentle!"

"Hmph! It's your fault for being so reckless!" she says with a pout.

Ahhh! She's angry with me. She didn't like how I kept recklessly challenging Zi Quan for the past eight months.

"So how has things been going in the sect?" I asked her, I have been busy training for the past year, so I don't know what's going on in the sect.

Fa Lin then abruptly stops for a moment, her golden eyes had look of worry and sadness for a second before returning to normal, as a bright smile made it's way onto her face.

But I could easily tell it was a facade.

"Everything thing is fine brother. Just focus on your cultivation. You are planning on entering The Great Black Turtle Tournament right? Please keep working hard." she says with a smile.

Fa Ken decided to drop the previous topic entirely. "Alright then."

He didn't want to pry any deeper, first he heard of the disappearance of all the mortals around the country and now something is bothering his sister.

He'll have to look into things once he fully recovers.

Looking over the balcony stood Hei Hua, down below was the city of Scarlet Fan. She sighed, as look of rage appeared on her beautiful face as she held a piece of paper in her hand.

A year ago, she was sent this letter that would strip her of any freedom she'd had, it was a letter saying after she graduated from the pavilion she'd be immediately getting married to the back prince of another country.

She had a few people look into him and found out he wasn't even the heir! Not only that, the reason she was getting married to him was because her father, lost a bet.

She doesn't know why but it pisses her off so much! If she could she'd kill her father and her waste of a older brother!

Releasing a sigh she calmed herself. A day after her graduation she plans to run away from this country.

Her strength should be decent by then for her not to have any major issues. That's if she doesn't run into any major roadblocks.

But her younger siblings, she worried about them, maybe she should come back for them after a few years?

"Huh? Your Dad is more of a piece of shit than I initially thought." said a familiar voice beside her, she turned around and jumped away on guard.

Her eyes widened when she saw who it was.

"Ken Hai?! What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be on a journey to the Illusory Dragon Empire?" asked Hei Hua.

"I am currently on that journey of course." he says as a puff of smoke appears at his side, which revealed a complete copy of Ken Hai.

Seeing this her mouth almost went agape.

"This is a techniques I'd like to call Shadow Clone. It makes a perfect copy of the user." he told her, she easily recollected herself.

"I see so why are you here?" she asked.

"Simple I came to you pertaining to matters of your country." said Ken Hai while Hei Hua's face scrunched up into confusion.

Without giving her a chance to speak up Ken Hai summoned a teleportation formation.

Looking at Hei Hua couldn't help but be amazed as a hobby she studies multiple different subjects. It's a cultivation world there's not much to entertain one with, other than a few things.

Reading is one of such things.

Anyway one of the things she studies was runes and formation, she even took it up for a bit herself.

Her teachers said she was prodigy at it and she didn't take it serious. But looking at Ken Hai's runes she can't believe how advanced it was.

She could only make out that it was used to move objects or people at certain coordinates

"?!" She looks at it closer and her eyes widened. "That smaller formation it powers the other larger formation!" she said again her mouth went agape.

[Damn girl with how much you gape, I wonder what can that mouth do?]

'Eva!' said Ken Hai in scrutiny.

"Oh-ho you know your stuff!" said Ken Hai he was really surprised she could guess it at a glance he guess he shouldn't underestimate the people of this world.

He'll remember that.

"Anyway follow me, I got something to show ya." he says as he steps into the formation and he disappears.

Surprised again she carefully steps into the rune and immediately her environment changed and she saw a gigantic city with Architecture she's never seen before.

All around were buildings with boxy shapes with glowing lights, there were also large wierd looking things that people would enter and it would move on its own.

No City she has seen before has looked this beautiful.

"Welcome to my country The Republic of Neo Arcadia." says Ken Hai.

"You want me to take over the throne and make my country a vassal state!" she said in shock.

"Yes I have already taken over your country from the shadows." I told her which shocked her again.

"But why me though of you already have the country in the palm of your hand. Why hand it over to me?"

"One because your father and older siblings only give a shit about themselves, so much so that the country is suffering. You do know your country is about to be demoted to a Kingdom with how much your father has been betting off territories. From that letter you have, You are a victim of his gambling addiction. Well you aren't the only one."

Yes some kings and Emperor's take part in various bets, they may even bet there son's and daughters, if their desperate enough.

It's called the betting banquet. It's where a royal will make a banquet as a cover, after the party is over they'd play a series of games mostly starting at midnight and ends at sunrise.

Lot's of people get tortured and played with, servants, mortals, it doesn't matter, naturally I plan to go to war with everyone of these countries.

I already have a vast amount of people on the inside along with Intel.

"I'm not the only one?"

"Yes from what I was able to wring out of your father many of your younger siblings are also set to be sold off as marriage prizes hell some of them into becoming simple bed warmers."

Hearing this a look of absolute rage appeared on her face a dark bluish aura surrounded her body as her eyes turned deathly cold.

Honestly with the way she looked now I had to push down my battle lust.

'Man with my resources I can't wait until she gets stronger!' I thought gleefully, as I can't wait to fight her.

But she soon calmed down and apologized. "This princess apologies to your highness for my previous outburst."

"It's fine and this country isn't ruled by a monarchy." hearing this her eyebrows furrowed and her head turned.

"Really?" she asked as I explained to her what a republic is and how the leader is chosen.

"I see, so did you become the leader yourself?" she asked Ken Hai.

Hearing this Ken Hai sighed as his head smashed into the table.

"No. I didn't want become the President however I tried encouraging them to nominate other people, but they insisted on choosing me." said Ken Hai.

"I see but how did you get this many people?" asked Hei Hua.

"Oh I made a pill that makes mortal able to cultivate. I've kinda been kidnapping them since. Though they're a rare handful who wanted to stay with their cultivator spouses." said Ken Hai as he held his chin.

Hei Hua was about to have huge reaction but didn't, only releasing a sigh.

"Please just go into details about my country. I want to take the throne as fast as possible."

It was clear Hei Hua did not want to deal whatever bullshit Ken Hai cooked up.
