Chapter 203

The Kingdom of Axania,

Chynir was not paying attention to what was happening around Theapan nor Curtis right now. The morning was still early and he trudged along the warm volcanic mountains of Axania. Dragons were so few in number that even walking among their kingdom's terrain you would not glimpse them very often. Though the strong pressure they naturally released when near one would cause an average man to tremble. To Chynir this pressure was nothing more then a slight tingle that lead him in their direction.

He could feel them scattered about the terrain. Dragons did not like being naturally close with one another. In fact a couple stray breeds of dragons could be found living outside Axania due to their bloodlines being of colder climate then their kingdom provided. Axania was covered in rivers of lava that ran through the volcanic mountains. The ground itself giving off a golden glow as natural gold mines were scattered throughout Axania's land.

Dragons naturally loved things like gold, jewels, art, and music. This was why their natural habitat was like horded land o them. Mines were not allowed to be abused by outside powers. Axania horded their wealth with power to back it up. Nobody was dumb enough to touch a dragon's treasure trove.

Stepping up to the ledge of a volcano he gazed downward into the boiling lake of lava below. Intense heat that could suffocate a person. Inside that lava a dragon's cold gaze swept up in his direction. It was impossible for a dragon to not be aware of a god when they came near. Shaking as it gazed up at the god the lava the dragon was submerged in sloshed about. Splashing the volcano's rocky surface.

Controlling them all would be do-able.. but it would be too troublesome. Not all of them are needed either, however they have uses. Chynir was not interested in wasting his time trying to maintain every single connection he could make to the dragons of Axania. In the end he decided to only grasp control on a few of them. The rest.. would do damage on their own without his control.

Just like how he wiped out the Dradel Kingdom by destroying the palace, and sending the royal family on the run, destroying Axania was within his power. It would anger the gods against him further. He was willing to take their fury towards him. This time he would take the Axania Queen herself as a pawn.

A light flashed through his eyes. Dozens of faolan wolves being summoned around him. Sparks of electricity crackling along his fingers as thunder rolled across the sky. Even if he was injured, even if it exhausted him, he was still deserving of being called a disaster.

Gggrrrr... ROOAAARRRRR!!!

The growls of the wolves were drowned out by the loud call the dragon released in his direction.

"Disobedient." Chynir spoke simply as his face showed distaste for the way the dragon was reacting towards him.

No, he did not know this dragon specifically. A random dragon in the heart of one of the volcanoes. It would do for a start.

With a flick of his wrist lightning rained down from the skies above. The lightning ripped through the earth like paper in a shredder. Tearing up the ground and splashing lava throughout the air. Burning any signs of plant life it fell upon. A larger lightning bolt rippling its way in the air straight towards the large dragon. Striking it against the chest as it glanced up and roared in pain.

Lava sloshed about as the dragon stumbled from the strike. It could see the violent god, Chynir, stepping towards him as the faolan wolves surrounded the lake of lava the dragon was residing inside.

"Kneel." Chynir's eyes flickered as his gaze dug into the dragon.

Shuddering the dragon slowly rose from the lava. It was large and had golden scales. A pair of blue eyes that shined brightly. The lava dripping from the dragon's scales left its body a wave of heat could be seen in the air as it moved.

Making its way onto dry land the dragon halted in front of Chynir. A fierce growl bellowing from the throat of the dragon. It was a strong dragon. Putting up a fight against the command that Chynir gave it. The god could see the dragon wavering and his gaze became more hostile.

"Kneel!" Chynir pressed his authority down on the dragon.

The reason dragons souls were damaged was to prevent an overflow of gods being born from their species alone. Due to the flaw in their souls they could not ascend to become a god. This also meant the dragons had a large number of fifth rank beings among them. Though their numbers were considered small this meant the few dragons that existed were dangerously strong. To be able to put up a struggle against a gods authority meant the dragon Chynir was taking control of was not a simple dragon. The harder it was to control the stronger it was.

BAMMM! Rrraarrrr...

Trembling from head to tail the dragon finally gave in. Its head slamming down against the ground while it growled. Those blue eyes seemingly judging the god before it. Full of pride the dragon was not willing to give in completely. Consciousness still flickering in those eyes as it struggled before finally giving in.

Step. Step. Step.

Chynir walked over to the dragon. Stepping onto its head and making his way to the dragon's back before standing in place.

ROOAARRRRRRRR!!!

A roar echoed from the dragon as they began to move. The wolves setting out to run wild among Axania. Destroying everything in their path as they slaughtered anyone they came across that was not of pure dragon blood. He could not use his authority on half-bloods. The dragons of Axania were thrown into a panic as the god began running wild in their land.

Whenever the wolves would take down a pure blooded dragon that Chynir thought would be of use to him he took control of the dragon. The more the count rose the more dragons he had burning down and destroying the kingdom of Axania as he traveled on top of a beautiful golden dragon straight for the palace of Axania.

Many dragons fled Axania Kingdom. This was not because they wanted to flee their homeland. If the enemy had been anything else they would have fought even to the death for Axania. When it came to going against the gods no dragon would dare to make such an act. They knew they had no hope against a god directly. Since the dragons had always been loyal to the gods and remained out of mortal war conflicts they had never expected Chynir to show up directly in Axania to harm them.

Dragons did not travel slowly, in a matter of hours they could find refuge in another territory. This however was not the same for everyone. Some dragons instinctively went crazy and lashed out at their surroundings during escape attempts. It was because dragons were still partially beast.

Though a dragon still had human mentality they were not purely human. When some of the dragons had their beast side stimulated during the struggle to survive Chynir's attack on Axania their mentality snapped. Becoming dragons on a rampage as they flew out of their homeland.
