35 REIGN OF EMILIA- Dimitri

"What? No. That can't be right. There must be a better explanation for this." Emilia ranted. "Maybe we, got drunk last night, and fell asleep."

"What? So we just got drunk, rented a hotel room, stripped and fell asleep, butt naked?" Ace says.

Saturday night at Emilia and Abigail's house in NYC.

"So, you still haven't told me about what happened in Switzerland with Ace. We know he went to see you." Hannah calls out through the phone.

The five girls; Hannah, Hailey, McKenna, Abigail and Emilia were on a conference call. The girls were questioning Em about what happened in "Switzerland". Which, actually was Maldonia.

It has been a week since the...incident and there is no way Emilia is telling anyone of them the truth. Sure, James and Abigail knew, but that's because they already know her real identity.

"Nothing happened. He went there for business and we just happened to bump into each other, still haven't forgiven him."

"Oh come on, we were hiding the same thing from you, if you've forgiven us then why not forgive your boyfriend." McKenna's voice rings through the phone.

"That, that right there, that is exactly why I can not just forgive. He is, or was, my boyfriend." Just then Emilia feels tickling on her stomach, which causes her to smile. "Okay, well I have to go. My cat is running all over me. I think she is hungry."

"But wait, you don't have a-"

"I do, I got one from Switz." Emilia rushed out, cutting Kenny (McKenna) off, mid sentence.

"You don't have a cat" Ace smirks, planting, lingering kisses up Emilia's naked stomach.

"Yeah well they don't need to know that." Emilia runs her fingers through his hair while his lips connect with her neck.

"Abigail will be home in 20 minutes." Emilia groans.

"Good. I'll only need eleven."

And friends, was he true to his words

Let's just say they bumped uglies.

For the kids sake.

-11 minutes later-

Emilia and Ace lay in Emilia's bed. Panting as if they had just ran a marathon.

"Ace." Emilia says, out of breath.

"Yeah." He says, letting out a heavy sigh.

"Never again." is all Emilia says.

"Yeah. Definitely."

He knew what she meant. She knew what she meant, but they both know that, it was bullsh*t. Because "Never again." is what they had been saying ever since what happened in Maldonia.

"So. What do you guys wanna do this weekend?" Alec asks the crew.

"What about camping?" Michael asks.

"Nah. Hailey's allergic to mosquitoes." Noah deadpans.

"No I'm not." Hailey says, playfully hitting her boyfriend's shoulder.

"Well you might as well be. Whenever you see one you run for the hills." Noah laughs, kissing her cheek.

"Those little things are the insects of satan, I swear-" Hailey began, but all of a sudden, she was cut off by the sound of a lunch trey colliding with the floor.

The crew abruptly turns their heads to the direction of the sound, and saw a young boy, probably a freshman, being bullied by some rude Junior guys.

The main bully, Ryan, had tripped the freshman, causing chisolm, along with his lunch tray to collide with the cafeteria floor.

"Look dweeb. You got your gross lunch all over my new sneakers. You better clean it if you know what's best for you." Ryan threatens, reaching his messy shoe out to the freshman. "Hurry up, before I change my mind. Then you'll have to use your tongue to clean it."

Emilia rolls her eyes in annoyance and gets up from her seat with a loud screech, causing everyone's attention to be on her. "That's enough. Leave him be, you as*holes." She says approaching the poor guy on the floor.

"What did you just say, you sl*t?" was probably the worst decision Ryan has ever made in his life.

Before Emilia totally lost it and ripped Ryan's head off in front of all her schoolmates, a series of loud screeches are hearded as Ace, James, Levie, Michael, Alec, Noah, Hailey, Hannah, McKenna and Abigail abruptly stands up.

Now at the center of attention, Ace briskly walks up to Ryan and land one square punch in the middle of Ryan's face, knocking him down.

"Know you place Edgewood. Don't f*ck with me, or her." Ace threatens.

Emilia ignores them and turns to the freshman who was still on the ground, deciding to give him a hand.

Upon taking her hand, the freshman, Dimitri stares at Emilia in shock. It looked as if he had seen a ghost.

"I can never forget that face. Eure Hoheit."

As soon as Emilia heard the title she had been called her entire life.

"W-was?" Emilia was obviously stunned.

"Du bist Prinzessin Amanda von Maldonia. Habe ich recht?"

[GERMAN- You are princess Amanda of Maldonia. Am I right?] The boy was seriously convinced that it was her. He could not dare forget the girl who once saved his life. At least that's what he thought at the time.

He was nine at the time, and Emilia was thirteen. His was being abused by his old foster parents for the umpteenth time, only this time, it was out in the open, at a park, which Emilia and two of her bodyguards just so happened to be passing by. Emilia saw what was happening, through the tinted window of her family's Maybach. She ordered the driver to stop the car and hurriedly got out and scolded the two foster parents.

Of course, the two weren't about to take orders from a thirteen year old, but once Emilia's buff, bodyguards stepped in, they didn't have a choice.

After that, Dimitri's foster parents were reported and Dimitri was later adopted by two loving women.

I still don't get how he still recognizes her, but whatever.

"Ich bin Dimitri. Du hast mich vor ein paar Jahren vor meinen alten Pflegeeltern gerettet." Dimitri says. [I am Dimitri. You saved me from my old foster parents a few years ago.]

Em takes a moment to to dig through her memory box, before a huge smile made it'sway to her lips. "Dimitri?"

"Guys, this is Dimitri. He's-"

What will you tell them Em? That he's the kid you saved four years ago, by just being a Royal?

"-An old friend."

I guess that could work.

"Well hi Dimitri. I am McKenna." Kenny was the first to speak. "These are Hailey, Hannah, I assume you know Abigail and James. Alec, Michael ,and Levie."

"Oh, and that pretty Korean heading our way is Say-hee."

I know, we haven't seen her in a while.

"annyeonghaseyo seihuiibnida. je olaen chingu dimiteuliibnida. geuneun yeogi sin-ibsaeng-ibnida" Emilia speaks in Korean. [Hello Say-hee. This my old friend Dimitri. He's a freshman here.]

Say-hee glances at Dimitri and smiles, before greeting in English. "Hello. I am Say-hee."

"Wow. You have so many friends. Well I guess I shouldn't be surprised since you're-" Dimitri spoke but Emilia soon cuts him off before he revealed her secret.

"Niemand außer ihm weiß es." Emilia gestures to Ace. "Und du kannst niemandem meine Identität preisgeben" [None of them knows except for him. And you can't reveal my identity to anyone.]

"Ja eure Hoheit" Dimitri responds. [Yes your Highness.]

"Oh, and you can just call me Em." She smiles.

"What was that all about? Alec was the first to asks.

"Nothing. Just a German inside joke." Emilia smirks at Dimitri.

Emilia sighs boringly. "Now it looks like a hawk, and a dove took a dump on your head before an Adélie Penguin ate a hundred Krills then, also, taking a huge dump on your head." Emilia give a sinister smirk. "Good luck getting that out, Bridgette." Em finishes before sauntering off with Hailey.

"Well, remind me not to piss you off on your time of the month." Hailey mutters.
