This is the story of a group of powerful beings who, in their boredom, have created the ultimate entertainment, a Battle Royal! But it consists of reincarnated humans. Watch our protagonist struggle to survive, live his life between each instance of this interesting program, and watch him travel to different worlds to find ways to improve his power, accompanied by his partner. ----- A world where he was reborn: Avatar: The Last Airbender. Worlds to travel: High School DxD, Marvel(MCU), Jojos Bizarre Adventure, Dark Souls, SCP. The cover photo was made for an AI. The characters that belong to other franchises are not mine, the mythological creatures are public domain. I only have my protagonist and the other reincarnated characters that will appear in the story. NO HAREM.
Damian looked at the three guys in front of him with annoyance, but he paid attention not only to them, but to others who were not yet 'in', but who seemed ready to jump in and fight him at any moment.
He was strong, but even if he were, he wouldn't be able to fight so many people, so he had to finish this fight as quickly as possible, and it was obvious that none of the participants were thinking of actually 'winning' this fight, but of having a good fight.
Why all the fuss if they weren't going to end the fight with a clear victory? Aside from the fact that it would be hard to kill one side, they had something much more important to consider in the future: fighting a version of Fenrir, even if he was injured, would not be easy, and it would take more than the power of everyone, even their enemies.
"Oi Seone, why does this guy have so much power?" asked Thor, a little confused by Damien's abnormal and powerful display.
"Let's just say that the vampires on this continent have chosen to suck something else instead of blood, they consume the 'reality' or rather the reality anchored in every living being.
You see, as material beings in this three-dimensional world, we cannot normally access any other dimension than the one we are used to, we are 'anchored' to the third dimension.
When a vampire consumes a human's life, they not only digest their life energy but also their reality anchor, strengthening what we call a 'realm', an independent 'world' that they can superimpose on the real world.
But whether they are consuming reality anchors or projecting their realm, this harms the material world, creating weakness in it and causing disasters ranging from psychic plagues to rips in the fabric of space-time, bringing about off-world horrors or the invasion of another world.
Broadly speaking, vampires 'suck' the blood out of the world, damaging it, wounding it and, over time, withering it. They are the greatest parasites in existence, and their existence is barely tolerated in this world because they have some sort of utility," Seone explained calmly, though his eyes never left Damien's.
"What is the utility of vampires?" asked a person in the crowd, it was a man with a tired look, dark circles under his eyes and a katana at his waist, which made Seone think there were too many katana users in this place.
"Let's say they are a mechanism of the world, as strange as it may sound, but they are 'necessary', of course, if their numbers are controlled. They limit the population and intelligent species to an acceptable range, avoiding overpopulation and the risks that come with it.
They also increase the quality of these species, making them more valuable to the world, because the world will always try to go further, that's why it favours the invasion of other worlds, only by devouring other worlds can it sublimate its existence.
Yes, we are only toys of extraordinary worlds like this one, even if it is used for a strange show, it does not take away the ruthless nature of it I think this world is even more cruel than others," when Seone finished his words, even Damien felt uncomfortable knowing these things.
Seone knew this from the records of the Belmont Clan and so many Belmonts who had gathered this information piece by piece over the millennia, and perhaps it was because of this information that the clan declined as if it had been cursed by the world.
Their bloodline became harder and harder to breed, their strength grew slower and slower, and it was as if everything around them was suddenly against them. But Seone was not afraid of this, first of all, he was not a 'blue-blooded' Belmont and they were all technically aliens, even if they were integrated into the world, it was obvious that the world had no control over them.
Aside from the fact that what we might call the 'will' of the world seemed to have regretted wiping out the Belmont clan, how did Seone know? One day, while he was meditating, a burst of free energy in the world entered his body without his permission and 'left him a message' of apology, something so rare that he simply couldn't help but meditate on it for many days.
"That's already too much information, we should just fight," Richard said a little annoyed by what he had just heard, and so much dialogue in a tense moment irritated him, even if he was a nice person, he had limited patience.
"Good!" without saying much more, Seone pointed his sword at Damien, the energy covering it became denser and took on the appearance of teeth that began to rotate, emitting a thunderous sound.
Sixth Sword: Chainsaw" With the sound of his technique, the fight began.
Pillars of blood emerged from the ground and twisted as if they were dancing threads to the sound of the wind; the blood contained the appearance of several ghostly faces, howling silently as if they could express their grievances.
The blood was thrown at them with extreme speed, and each one dealt with the situation in his way. Seone ran towards Damien, leaving residual images as he dodged the attacks with elasticity and movements reminiscent of snakes.
The appearance of the representation of his vitality, a black snake with golden rings and red eyes, twisted behind Seone and from time to time made an attacking movement, swallowing the phantom figures that tried to approach its user. When swallowed by the snake, these beings would dissolve into pure energy that would be returned to the world, as was their original destiny.
When Seone got close to Damien, he swung his weapon at him, but the vampire, who had seemed so fragile before, only raised his left arm in defence. The sound of a chainsaw against metal was heard instead of shattered flesh and bone. Sparks flew at the point of contact between sword and flesh.
Seone and Damien looked into each other's eyes, the latter with an expression of pride, his prominent fangs peeking out from under his smug grin.
"You're a long way from really cutting me down, dirty Belmont," with a wave of his arm, Seone was pushed back and thrown several metres into the distance.
Thor was much simpler, he raised his left hand and a silver shield appeared in front of him, protecting him from the thin but powerful jets of blood. He was just experimenting with this new power and didn't have many resources like Seone or Richard.
Speaking of Richard, Thor took a moment to look at his temporary companion, watching him solve the much easier problem.
The blood could not reach him, for it vaporised at a distance of five metres, and these spirits could not withstand the majestic power of the sun emanating from his being. Thor, who had become entangled with these beings, felt a pang of envy until he remembered something.
As he shielded himself from the blood, he began to sing, which made him seem somewhat out of place, but all who heard his song felt calm and at peace. His song purified these tormented beings and made them vanish, having purified them before.
"I never expected a Zelda song to work against real ghosts," said a woman who was nearly four metres tall, dressed in full body armour of black, with a large sword on her back.
"You know, in Majora's Mask, this song can deal with ghosts, and even though it doesn't turn them into masks here, it makes them leave peacefully," replied a man next to the tall woman, wearing a purple wizard's robe and a book of the same colour with four clovers on its cover.
Seone lowered his body and used his feet to stop the momentum that threw him backwards, leaving a furrow in the ground. He tightened his grip on his sword and, without wasting any time, lunged at Damien again, swinging his weapon swiftly but maintaining the heaviness characteristic of his sword style.
The sound of clashing metal echoed incessantly, like a song composed of the same musical note, as Seone and Damien moved all over the floor exchanging attacks, but neither could affect the other.
At this point, Richard and Thor found it a little difficult to engage, especially as even as Damien fought our young protagonist, he was sending annoying and insidious attacks at both of them.
The red-eyed shadows were like an extension of the vampire's will, performing bloodthirsty attacks or more complicated magic such as curses of all kinds, summoning creatures based on a twisted mixture of blood, flesh and shadow. And even more complicated resentful ghosts and spirits.
Some of these enemies were solved by Richard, while the curses were Thor's responsibility due to his inherent advantage over them. But it was extremely annoying and disgusting as if Damien didn't take both of them seriously, only Seone.
"That bastard is just littering, and I don't know why, but this 'kingdom' seems to have grown a bit more," Thor said with annoyance after using his power to remove a curse of blindness from him and Richard.
"It's preventing us from joining the fight and keeping us busy while it increases its advantage, I've noticed that its attacks have become much more difficult and complicated," Richard commented after noticing that he could only vaporise the blood attacks when they were within three metres of him.
It was also harder for him to take out these special beings, not to mention the fact that he couldn't unleash his full power due to the limited space and the crowd around him, feeling quite self-conscious and confined.
The sun disk behind him glowed brighter as Richard found a solution for himself and his companion, something that would allow him to jump straight into the real fight. His light-covered hair seemed to come alive, giving off bursts of heat and energy.
As if it were dawn, light began to emanate from his entire being, faster and faster, his eyes became two bright sources of light and his clothes tore to reveal his huge, quite muscular and defined body, but no one was embarrassed by the sight.
No one could be embarrassed by someone like him, whose light seemed to transmit life and hope, so his naked body did not cause any embarrassing situations. Damian, who was about to dig his long nails into Seone's abdomen, stopped short, unable to prevent our protagonist's sword from hitting his body and throwing him away.
Damien was able to withstand the sunlight perfectly, but his body did not fail a little when Richard's light hit him. Although he would no longer suffer from it, the feeling that the light caused him, plus the pain of Seone's attack that he could not defend against, made his expression turn ugly.
"I can't last long in this state, I might lose myself and become a mere shell of glowing light, devoid of personality, so let's end this fight soon," Richard's voice sounded rather cold and dry, in contrast to his current appearance.
Thor, standing to his right, nodded. He concentrated only on holding the double-helix sword, discarding the energy shield he had created. Silver energy flowed into his body and his temperament changed as red lines covered his face and limbs.
Thor's aura changed to a much more serious and spirit-filled one, a spirit that joined Seone's and Richard's, creating a strange resonance between them. Seone had arrived at Richard's left, so all three of them looked at Damien, who had risen into the air.
Blood swirled around him, the bloody moon rising above him as his realm expanded faster and faster, eroding reality.
"A cunning serpent, a strange god and a pure sun fighting against me... I want to kill them," said Damien, the eyes in his shadow radiating malice indiscriminately, but none of his opponents were affected.
"I feel like I've met a lot of monsters..." said Seone, his breathing a little laboured, but his grip on his sword never wavered, the snake behind him hissing audibly in a sign of struggle.
"This is my first time at something like this, you know, I need your advice, Seone," Thor joked a little, though his gaze was serious and he constantly followed Damien's movements.
Richard just shook his head, and with his movement, the fight resumed. A new round began, and some of the reincarnated present prepared to join in.
