Red head's wrath

"Larissa you bitch! Where are you?" Equinox grew anxious because she couldn't see Larissa anywhere.

She closed her eyes and tried to find her location and felt that she was somewhere near her.

"Where is she? Where is she?" She tried to find Larissa through the crowd and finally, she saw her.

Without looking around Equinox quickly ran towards her so she could catch Larissa... But while doing that she didn't noticed a big truck moving towards her.

But before the truck could hit her, someone quickly held her hands and pulled her away from the road.

Equinox's heart started to beat faster because she thought her new appearance is going to be ruined and everyone will know her real self but thankfully someone saved her.

She turned towards the person to thank them. But as she did, her whole body got frozen with shock.

"No! No no no... It's you!" Her mind suddenly became dazed. And some unknown memory got into her mind that she had been forgotten.

{Stafford village 1498}

"Finally! I am back in my mother nature." Equinox breathed the fresh air that she craved for years.. "Earth is far more better place than hell." Equinox looked around herself and noticed few owls ogling at her angrily.

She closed her eyes in frustration. "Yeah mom, I know why I am here. so please stop stalking me... And please send your owls back... It's distracting." After getting the hint. The owls flew away from the place.

"Uggh! Why am I supposed to do this mission out of all the demons anyway?" When she said that, suddenly a huge raven bird came towards her and handed her a scroll.

In it, there was information about the person she is supposed to tame.

Equinox read the scroll carefully. "If they wanted me to seduce that person then they should have told succubi to do the task. Why me?" She couldn't understand that thing... But as she kept reading the note she understood what was Lilith's plan.

"So I am going after a person who is a descendant of the heaven? Well.. then it's going to be tuff." She thought about it. "Maybe this is why mom wanted me to do this task. Because as per my knowledge. The person who is a descendant of the heaven can sense the demons around them... But I am not fully a demon yet. Does that mean I can trick them?"

Equinox: "I don't have time to think anymore..." She made up her mind. "Even though this task is risky, but I am ready to do this for my family. I am not going to let them down."

"Your highness, here I come. I hope you make my task easy and not be a burden." She looked at the gate which could lead her inside the holy Kingdom of Stafford village and smiled.

"Your highness, we should return back to the palace. This place is not safe for you... There are already wars going on in the world. What if something happened to you?" The royal guard said with a worrying tone.

"Don't worry Thomas, If you are with me then no one can touch me. I know it.." Victor was very chilled out because finally, he was able to breathe some fresh air outside...

Nowadays, he always stays in his workroom trying to solve the village's issues. That's why he doesn't have much time for himself.

"But the queen will be angry if she found this out." Thomas wiped the sweat from his head while thinking about it. "Our rival country's enemies tried to assassin you many times. What if they did it again?"

"Why will they attack me? Because right now if anyone saw me then they'll think I am some kind of normal countryman." He looked at himself. "I look like them. Right?"

The royal guard looked kind of perplexed. Even though Victor was dressed like a peasant. But anyone can tell he was not a normal person for sure. That's why he didn't know how to answer it. "Well, to be honest..."

"No, don't be honest. Just go..." Victor tried to make him leave. "Come on, I need some alone time."

Thomas didn't wanted to leave but he couldn't disobey victor. That's why he left the place without saying anything and climbed on a distant tree to keep watch on the crown prince.

Victor sat on the cleaned grass and sighed with relief... The earthy smell of different types of trees and plants was slowly calming him down. This is the reason why he loves to come to the roway mountains

But breathing fresh air was not the only reason.

He clenched the grass tightly and made all of his bad feelings buried inside the ground... And by doing that, the green grass from earlier suddenly started to turn black.

He opened his eyes and sighed again. He knew this was going to happen. But he didn't have a choice.

A human who is a descendant of the heaven has many things that they are prohibited to do.. and the first thing is trying to show any kind of emotions.

Either it can be anger, sadness, or even happiness. They are not allowed to feel anything. Otherwise, it will not only affect them but also the whole world.

That's why whenever Victor has some kind of bad emotions he always comes to this roway mountains. Because the soil of this place is known to suck anything bad from human's bodies. It can even heal some people's illnesses. And most importantly, the mountains had some deep memories of his ancestors. That's why it always helps.

He was asleep for a few minutes. but he suddenly woke up from his nap when he heard someone's noise coming from behind the bushes.

When he went near the place. He saw three men cornering a young women. And looking at her with their pathetic smirk.

Victor couldn't see the woman's face because she was turning on the other side. But he knew that she was not scared of those men at all.

One of the men looked at her attitude and commented. "Oh my goodness, What might a pretty lady like you might be doing in a place like this? Lost your way?" Everyone started laughing for no reason.

One of the guys took his chance and tried to touch the woman. But she quickly grabbed his hand and glared at them...

"Don't you dare touch me you jerks, you guys stink." Equinox said while fake coughing and covering her nose.

The bald head guy's ego got hurt when she said that. How did she know about them not bathing for months?

He scoffed. "Look at this red head's nerve! Trying to talk back to us... Do you want to die!?" He came forward to slap her but Equinox grabbed his hand and twisted all of his fingers to the other side and casually threw the guy on the tree and made his bald head bloody.

Victor was shocked by seeing that. How can a slim looking girl like her can throw a fat man in the tree? He was quite very impressed.

The other guy's mouth stayed open by seeing their friend in that state. They tried to run but Equinox made them fall on their faces with the help of her magic.

She grabbed one of the guys's hair tightly and made him look at her. "Now tell me... Will you ever harass a girl again!?"

The guys pledge while crying. "No, never... We will never even look at them from now on." They cried as their noses bleed.

"Good.. Now go... Unless you want some more?" Her eyes turned red making the guys terrified.

"A demon!? Ahhhh!!!" They screamed loudly and started to run away from the place leaving their bald friend by himself.

After hearing his friends scream. He also ran after them. "Wait for me. Ahhh!"

While seeing those guys terrified of her. Equinox smirked. She was very proud of herself. Guys like them deserves to be treated that way only.

After the surroundings became silent. Equinox's demon instinct started to kick in. She felt someone's presence around her. That's why she became alerted. "Who is this? Come out if you are brave enough" She yelled so the person could hear her.

Equinox looked behind the bush to look at the person but Victor came out from the other direction and made her stunned.

She touched her heart tightly because she thought she was having an heart attack.  "How dare you make a demon scared?" She mumbled softly.

"Pardon?" Victor couldn't hear her properly that's why he asked.

"I mean, who are you? Are you one of them?" She squinted her eyes and looked at him. He didn't looked like he was with those pigs. He looked very attractive unlike them.

Victor's voice cracked by seeing her stare at him like that. "N-no don't get me wrong. I don't even know those people."

Equinox: "Then what were you doing behind the bushes? Were you watching the show? Why couldn't you come forward and save this innocent looking woman over here?" She said while pointing at herself.

"Innocent looking woman?" He chuckled.

Equinox crossed her arms. "What are you laughing at? Do I not look like an innocent woman to you?"

Victor: "Well, kind of..."

Equinox: "kind of!? What do you mean by tha..." She kept her mouth shut because she didn't wanted to waste her time. "Anyway, why am I wasting my time on you?" She decided to leave but then victor said something.

"Wait! You left something." He picked up a white napkin from the ground and noticed an E alphabet carved on it.

"Here you go, Miss E..." He handed her the napkin.

Equinox tried to take the napkin from him. But as their hands touched. They both felt a sudden electric shock. That's why they screamed with pain.

Equinox clenched her hand tightly and noticed her palm slowly turning blue. The pain lasted only for seconds but it was very painful.

Victor chuckled through his pain and clenched his hand. "Looks like those guys were right. Maybe you really are a demon. You threw that guy on the tree and now gave me shock already."

Equinox became alerted because this guy was slowly finding out her true identity.

"You also gave me a shock. Does that mean you are a demon too?"

"Makes sense." Victor found it right. The thing that happened now was very weird.  "But I have noticed, you don't look like you are from this village. Are you new?"

Equinox: "Actually, I am here to meet someone. But I don't know how they look like. That's the problem."

Victor got curious "Who is the person?"

Equinox stared at him with puzzlement. "Mister, aren't you too nosy?"

Victor: "I am sorry but, I thought I could help you."

Equinox smirked. "Fine then, I am here to meet the crown prince. Do you know where he might be?"

Victor smiled while thinking about it. The person she wants to meet is him. But he can't say her that. "So if you want to meet the crown prince then you should go to the diamond palace. Why would he be here?"

"I was going there only. But I accidentally met those pricks." Her mood became dull while thinking about them.

Victor looked at her curiously. "But why do you want to meet the crown prince?"

"It's none of your business." She took her handkerchief and decided to leave.

Victor: "Fine, don't tell me, but at least tell me your name. I will inform him about you."

Equinox looked back and answered. "It's Equinox."
