Marry her or die!

"So you are telling me, that Julian and Larissa are still alive!?" Ezen said while sitting on the chair as he touched his head in frustration. "Why do all the people I killed in the past keeps coming back to haunt me? Sometimes I wonder if I am a demon or if they are one."

Equinox crossed her arms and stared at him. "Ezen! You asked this stupid question 5 times already. If you said it one more time then I am going to have an headache!" She sat on the bed while breathing heavily.

Ezen handed her a water and looked at her newfound appearance. "Can you please change your face into your original one? Because I can't take you seriously with a face like that."

Equinox angrily snatched the glass of water from his hand and kept it on the nearby table.

She then used her magic to make her new face back to normal. "Is this face enough for you? Or do you want me to put on some makeup?"

"No sis, your original scary face is more bearable than your new one... Do you know how uncomfortable I get with unknown faces?"

Equinox slammed her hand on the table and broke it into pieces. "Ezen please be serious atleast once in your lifetime! I told you that Larissa and Julian are back and you are just wasting your time."

"Alright, MOM! If I am wasting my time then you find a plan to kill them. Why ask me?" Ezen was getting irritated by her attitude.

"FINE! I will think about it." She mumbled slowly. "Why am I meeting all the people of my past whom I don't have the courage to speak?"

Ezen smirked because he knew who Equinox was hinting at. "Courage to speak? Really? This thing can't be about the two siblings... Did you met someone else too? Like an old lover?"

"If you know then why are you asking?" Equinox stated calmly.

Ezen: "Nothing, I was just checking if people are going to be honest or not."

Equinox got mad when he said that. "Honesty!? You are the least person to talk about being honest!" She spoke to him in an accusing tone "You lied to me Ezen! You told me he died."

Ezen casually sipped his wine and answered. "Yes, i lied. So what? Why do you care so much if he stays alive or not?" He looked at her while being amazed. "Don't tell me you still have feelings for Victor? Do you?"

Equinox looked down like she was guilty.

Ezen: "If you still do then throw that feeling out of your head. Don't forget that he is the one who killed you before."

Equinox closed her eyes tightly so she could hide her tears. She didn't wanted to say this but she had to. "It's so easy for you to say that I should throw my feelings out." She gave him a scornful look. "Just because you made your heart into stone. That doesn't mean others also have to do that."

"WOW!" Ezen couldn't believe that out of all the people Equinox was saying this. "So you want to argue now!?" He nodded. "Fine, then let me tell you that demons don't have any heart. So if I don't have any kind of emotions then why will I hide it?" He turned around and drank all the wine from the glass.

"Are you sure about that? Are you sure that you don't have any emotions?" Equinox chuckled while wiping her tear. "You know in my life, out of all the demons you were very closest to me. You know why? Because you were different. When everyone in hell used to mock me for having emotions, you were there with me. You understood me because you were going through the same thing as me." She looked at him. "But.. No. What did I expected? You were really after all Lilith's child... As we grew old, your greed over the throne took upon you and messed up your relationships with everyone. Am I right?"

Ezen's eyes turned yellow with anger. "SHUTUP!" He closed his eyes to control his rage. "Can we do our sibling squabbling later on? There are already many enemies dancing on my head. I don't want another one."

Equinox also calmed herself. She didn't wanted to say this to Ezen but sometimes she can't control what she says. That's why she was feeling very guilty. "I am sorry. What do you want to talk about?"

Ezen ignored the fight that happened between them and acted like nothing happened. Because he knew that Equinox didn't mean't to say this to him. "Just tell me why Larissa and Julian are still alive? Because I don't think they had an immortal lineage like Victor did."

"Based on my knowledge, them being immortal had nothing to do with their lineage." Equinox became serious. "They might have done a voodoo magic."

Ezen shook his head. "Doing voodoo magic would not make them immortal." He thought about it. "Unless they found a loophole."

Equinox nodded. "Yeah. They did found a loophole." She glanced at the sunset outside. "A human can be immortal if their destiny is not written completely."

Ezen became confused. "What does destiny has to do with being immortal?"

Equinox: "Let me explain, when a human gets born. He or she has a fated destiny written, whom they had to follow all their life... But what if their's death is not written in the destiny? If this happened then that means the universe can end them however they want."

"If the universe can kill them however they want then why are they not dead yet?"

"They did a voodoo magic to become immortal. Which means some high level of bad energy is shielding them from their death."

"I have the power to destroy any kind of bad energy in this world. So I think it will be easy to kill them."

Equinox chuckled. "Ezen don't be foolish. I said some high kind of bad energy is protecting them. So take a hint who it might be." She nodded. "Yeah... It's our mommy dearest. Everything was planned by Lilith."

Ezen was shocked for a moment. He didn't wanted to believe it. "But... Why is mom helping them when she knows they are my enemies?"

"Who knows what goes through that woman's mind? Me and Lilith never had any good relationship. I saw her selfishness from the start that's why I am not surprised." She looked at him. "What about you?"

Ezen was still in disbelief. "But why will she do that to me?"

"When did she ever cared for anyone? She tortures her own kids in the hell. And also trapped me in the chamber for centuries." She sneered. "Forget about us. Atleast she should have helped you instead... She had the power to take you out of that forbidden forest. But she didn't."

"I knew that I will meet many traitors in my life. But I didn't expected it from mom..."

Equinox looked around the room suspiciously. "You know what? I feel like she is secretly listening to our conversation. That's why let's not talk about her anymore."

"But what about the loophole! Can we undo it?" Ezen was becoming very impatient. Cause he knew that his powers are very weak now. So Julian might take a chance to attack him. that's why he was frustrated.

"Don't worry about it. I'll try my best to find a way to undo it. But for now, all you have to do is get your powers back. That's it."

"But how am I supposed to do that? I don't know how to stop this soul bounding."

"See, there is only one way." Equinox sighed. "And I know you might not like it. But you have no choice. You need to face the consequences of the stupidity you did."

Ezen became irritated. "Uggh, just tell me what I need to do!"

"Marry Anastasia." Equinox smiled mockingly. "It's not hard for you. Is it?"

"What!? That's impossible. She will surely reject me."

"You should have thought about this before bounding your soul with an innocent girl!" Equinox yelled. "Because of you, not only yours, but her powers also became weak."

Ezen looked down guiltily. "If I knew about that, then I would have never done it."

"Too late to feel guilty." She opened the door to leave but stopped for saying something. "Now don't stay here wasting time. Go to her. Apologise to her for the mess you made. Then ask if she can marry you or not. Understand?"

"You think it's easy? I never even asked any girl out on date. And you want me to propose her? What if she rejected me?"

"First of all, keep your ego aside!!" Equinox warned. "That's the problem with you... You're so used to women throwing themselves at you. That's why you are so arrogant about asking someone out first.. Think about it! It's the matter of life and death. Marry her or die!

"Can't you propose to her for me?" Ezen made an innocent face. "Please sister."

"Get lost!" Equinox slammed the door shut and left the room quickly. She couldn't understand this guy a bit. How is she supposed to propose Anastasia for him? Is she a matchmaker or what? Thinking about it she went outside to breath a fresh air away from this mess.

"What's wrong with her?" Ezen was confused about why she was angry.

He looked at his glowing red ring and tried to take it off. But it was stuck in his finger like it was super glued.

"Looks like I really need to marry her... If someone in hell found out about this. Then my reputation will be at stake. Ezen sighed. "I don't want to be another Equinox."
