Arthur witnessed Helena and Emma's fight.

It was a good opportunity to assess Helena's skills, so that he wouldn't be backstabbed in the future. He considered killing her, but after seeing her overpower an intermediate-rank acolyte, he aborted it. She was too valuable to be killed, and more importantly, she had promised to share with him decades' worth of research, which he looked forward to.

Still, an intermediate-rank acolyte was still what it was. And Arthur stealthily appeared behind Helena to congratulate her.

[Soul Seal Skill successfully cast]

Just like that, he had obtained another high-grade magical ressource.

"Are you here to kill or to make money?", Helena laughed, "I am injured"

Arthur nodded: "I know, retreat to the main battlefield. Although there is more action, it is actually safer. The strongest powerhouses are staying hidden. I already killed Rick Crimson. Without Emma, there is only one intermediate rank acolyte alive"

Arthur knew he had failed his second optional task. However, he wasn't angry. There was no use in becoming too greedy.

"Stop right here! You demon!", a man shouted, "There are two spider-robe acolytes here! They are enemies! Ivory Tower Acolytes, gather here!"

Almost instantly, five acolytes surrounded both Helena and Arthur.

However, they were only beginner rank acolytes. To Arthur, they weren't even worth using knight killing techniques.

[Frozen Hands].

Unleashing his most familiar spell, Arthur moved forward and punched the nearest acolyte. The poor boy was only eighteen, yet he died instantly. Arthur's strength was so high that his hand had pierced through the boy's abdomen, all the way through it.

[You have dealt 28 points of damage]

[You have killed [Level 3 Acolyte - Tony Ruth]. You have received 30 EXP]

Blood sprayed on his mask and robe, making Arthur look like a terrifying demon.

He wasn't finished though.

Repeating the process on the two incoming acolytes, the battle ended quickly as Helena finished the remaining two with ice spears.

Five acolytes had died in less than one minute. It was quite extraordinary.

However, the one who was shocked was Helena.

'I knew he was strong, but to think that he possessed enough strength to send a 2-meters-tall giant into the air with one palm strike...', Helena assessed, 'He is even stronger than I expected. Making an ally out of him was the right decision'

After the battle calmed down, Helena started to loot her opponent, and picked Emma Crimson's necklace. The good thing about large-scale battlefields was the probability of earning new magical artefacts that could not be bought with magic crystals alone.

Arthur too, had gotten his third magical artefact from Rick's body.

It was called [Magnetic Ring], and it absorbed part of the incoming attacks through an eletromagnetic field. If you considered his [Ice Shield] spell along with his [Ice Physique], this new layer of defence basically made him invincible in the [Beginner Acolyte Realm].
