Heidi did not know what the reason was but he was not able to sleep a wink.
Splinters littered around his cabin. His pieces of furniture turned upside down. Not even a picture frame of his late parents was left unscathed inside his abode. Foods delivered by Lilo and Juzi were left unattended and unopened until they started to smell. Not a wisp of a breath of fresh air could deter the heavy stale air in his cabin.
He was simply a mess.
Turning and grunting in discomfort in the middle of his king-sized bed, Heidi punched the remaining pillow. Blue feathers immediately scattered around him and as they fell to the floor and the crumpled sheet of the bed, the hue of blue mixed with a myriad of feathers scattered long before its batch.
This had gotten on for seven days and eighteen hours. Heidi clearly remembered how he came into this situation…
