A woman's silhouette was carved like a jade against the moonlit sheen from the three moons above them. Amid the silk cloak that covered her entire body, the allure of her movement could not be hidden.
"You are finally back," said a deep voice behind the woman. "I have waited many years for your return. That person has been left too long."
"The time is not yet ripe." Without turning her head, a soft melancholic voice resonated in the cliff where the two people stood. "That child must learn to bend and endure the waves of time." She sighed as she looked up into the starless night sky. "This is our war, our revenge, our life goal to the death—never that child's."
The man's face turned grim after the mention of revenge as his gaze grew sharp. "Those who have wronged will pay sooner than later."
"There will be no 'later' for them. Now that I am back, only doom awaits them."
