Chapter Thirty_ Lord Lu is angry

Lu Jingze was beginning to worry about Nu Yanyan, she had been in there for almost an hour and it has began to make him think that something bad is happening but he was sure that his soon-to-be wife would be able to handle any obstacles.

He called Shi Rhue"how is the recruitment going?"his tone cold holding no emotion. Shi Rhue was used to his voice but wasn't his madam with him.

He had come to notice that his voice turn softer whenever madam is around, could it be that they had an argument.

This won't do,he was about to tell his boss's mother that his boss had found a girl he loves but they'll already on an argument.

"The recruitment is going fine sir...um... boss"he hesitate for a moment, he really likes this madam of his and would be really sad if she leaves.

"Hmm"Lu Jingze acknowledged Shi Rhue words.

"Boss,i know that this might be your first time in a relationship but consider madam who just came out of an abusive marriage. Maybe you can try apologizing,it always make girls feel important. As for madam, she might not like expensive things, just make her happy. Being a man means you have to own up to your responsibilities...umm...i hope that this helps and if it doesn't i'll send the link to you sir but i know that madam isn't like that...boss are you still there?"Shi Rhue asked noticing that his boss was silent.

Lu Jingze mouth twitched as he heard Shi Rhue who was giving him advice on how to manage his relationship. What does he take him for?

"It seems like you've been free lately as you've been visiting websites that doesn't concern you, you're working overnight today in both your main office and your Madam's office. I'll see the works tommorow".

Lu Jingze hung up not giving Shi Rhue a chance to rectify himself.

Shi Rhue blamed himself for wanting to help his boss,he should really learn to keep his mouth in order.

One shouldn't cry over spilled milk,he energetically continued his work in the recruitment.

As Lu Jingze hung up,he saw the silhouette of Nu Yanyan coming towards the car. Her face was neutral, she wasn't smiling nor frowning.

She entered the car and sat down with a sigh"What's wrong?"Lu Jingze asked seeing her face.

Nu Yanyan looked at Lu Jingze"Nothing... please can you drive?"she asked with a tired face.

She clearly showed that she didn't want to talk about it,this also saddened Lu Jingze heart. What's so hard for her to talk about with him?.

He started the car and drove off to Nu Yanyan's house. Nu Yanyan dropped off the car,Lu Jingze wanted to follow her in but she stopped him"Jingze,i think i'll rather be alone".

Lu Jingze frowned,she really just refused him. He looked at her for a moment before entering into the car and driving off.

He didn't even collect his kiss from Nu Yanyan.

Seeing his car as it disappears within her sight,Nu Yanyan sighed and walked inside the house.

She went to her room and took off her clothes for a relaxing bath,her mind kept on drifting to the argument that transpired between her mother,Nu Liyu and her.

~~~twenty minutes before~~~

"Yanyan is definitely not in the wrong but it wasn't also right for her to result to violence. Nu Liyu as the eldest,you were supposed to ask if Nu Yanyan was willing to go shopping with you..."

Old madam Nu stood up immediately"Why should Nu Liyu ask if she was willing?,it was her room before Nu Yanyan came"Old madam Nu remember how she tolerated Nu Yanyan when she got her divorce,she had never thought that Nu Yanyan had changed so suddenly.

"If you interrupt me one last time...Nu Liyu next time learn to be decent".

Nu Liyu gritted her teeth in anger, she glared at Nu Yanyan fiercely so much that it felt like her eyes were going to pop out.

"Father, mother was just helping me out afterall Nu Yanyan took my room from me. If she keeps on doing this,i may end up like Brother Zheng".

Finally Nu Yanyan's heart wavered, she looked at Nu Liyu.

"That brother of yours was so useless that he died because of a woman,what a shameful death!"Old madam Nu lamented in mockery. Out of all she children she had,Nu Liyu was her favorite.

Nu could feel numbness in her heart

Was her brother a topic so interesting to bring up. Everybody knows that Nu Zheng died years ago,a death that pained Nu Yanyan.

"I'll take my leave"Nu Liyu looked at Nu Yanyan whose mood had suddenly turned soured. She didn't know what she had said to make Nu Yanyan sad but she was happy she had said it.

~~~twenty five minutes later~~~

Nu Yanyan had already came out of the bathtub. She didn't even feel like thinking about it but she wasn't going to leave Nu Liyu for what she had said.

Nu Yanyan had wanted to leave alk those people behind, besides she's with someone better and wouldn't want to do with meaningless people but they don't seem to want to stay in their place.

Nu Yanyan then thought of Lu Jingze who was still mad at her,she trust him but she was unwilling to cry in front of him.

He had this kind of effect on her that just by merely looking at him,the tears would start flowing. She was definitely at fault, someone who had being helping her eversince she was reborn.
