The cars opened,one has a woman foot outside while the other was a male's. Lin Jiujiu know that shoe and leg size at a single glance,she hurriedly went outside.

She head towards the male, the person was Guo Jian while the female was Mo YuXiao. Lin Jiujiu eyes gleamed as she stared at Guo Jian"Jianjian, it's been long"Guo Jian finally stared at Lin Jiujiu who was acting like a child.

He had a complicated look on his face,he stared at Mo YuXiao wanting to decipher her emotions but she had already walked towards the restaurant without staring back.

Lin Jiujiu snuggled up into his arms during the brief moment of him spacing out,Guo Jian finally looked at the girl in his arms"Why did you come back?"he asked Lin Jiujiu,his voice was hoarse and weak as he held Lin Jiujiu on her shoulder.

He slowly lead her to his car and into the backseat,only then did he enter the driver's seat. He had come immediately Lu Jingze told him that Lin Jiujiu was back. He didn't want to show how unhappy he was hearing the news or even seeing her especially when Mo YuXiao was there.

He could only pretend to be concern as she was Lu Jingze's cousin and also his wife to be. Why was she here anyway?,his parents had told him that they would give him a year to live his single life.

It's barely six months now and she was here, Lin Jiujiu on the other hand was oblivious to the thoughts of Guo Jian. "Ah Jian,i came here because of my cousin,he needed a favor. Why are you here?"she asked blinking her eyes like a seductress. She wanted to hear him say that he came because of her.

Guo Jian focused on driving on the road and didn't answer,he didn't wish to be cold to her but she should also understand that he didn't love her and that this marriage was going to do harm to both of them.

He pursed his lips into a thin line and drove like the wind.

Guo Jian came out of his car and went to the back seat door to open it for Lin Jiujiu. He did that casually like he would have done for any other woman but Lin Jiujiu took that simple gesture as a confession of his love.

One would be surprised at how her mind works as she's an actress with many experiences.

"Did you bring me to your house,Ah Jian?"

Guo Jian hummed his answer and held her hand leading her into his house. As much as he didn't want her to come here, if word gets out that he took his wife-to-be to an hotel,his parents would definitely get angry.

He took her to the second floor guest room of his house"This is where you'll sleep"he said without care,Lin Jiujiu nodded and responded"Will we be sleeping in the same room?"her eyes were clouded with expectancy but Guo Jian ruthlessly shut her down"No, if you're hungry. Tell Miss Anna to get you a meal downstairs"he said and proceeded to go upstairs.

Lin Jiujiu suddenly held the hem of his shirt,Guo Jian turned to look at her small face. Who wouldn't fall for this beauty,she has everything that a man wants and even more but Lin Jiujiu wonders why Guo Jian seem immune to her.

He pretends like she was air and doesn't respond to her,she had thought that if she gave him some space,he would come to realize his true feelings towards her but she was totally wrong. He only seem to grow more distant. What doesn't she have up to his taste? she was willing to change it for him or could he still be thinking of his other woman.

"Ah Jian,what have i done wrong for you to treat me with such indifference?,i love you so much and you know it but why am i not still allowed into your heart?"
