Chapter Seventy-four_Will you marry me(4)

The trio were finally done with eating, Nu Yanyan and Mo YuXiao didn't even eat one-third of the meal and told the waiter to pack it up the leftover for them.

"Mr Lu,thank you for visiting us today. The boss said that you're welcome here anytime and your meals will always be free"Lu Jingze coming to their restaurant had brought more popularity to them,so if they want to see him more often,they had to give him the chance to do so.

Lu Jingze hummed like he knew,Nu Yanyan mouth opened in shock. She crossed her arm over her chest and pouted. Lu Jingze who noticed this faced the waiter"No need I'll pay"He offered.

The waiter was shocked,he shook his head"No need Mr Lu. Your meals are therefore free"he said almost immediately. Lu Jingze stood his stand"I'll pay,take"he gave the waiter his black bank card.

Nu Yanyan mouth opened again,she wanted him to feel embarrassed because she was with his diamond card. She had thought that that was his only bank card,but she had underestimated him.

The waiter froze,he collected the card and went to a room. Afterwards,he came out with the manager of the restaurant who was already sweating.

Seeing this scene,the customers in the restaurant turned to look at Lu Jingze. For him to be able to bring out the manager, he has to be someone worth the respect.

_Isn't that Mr Lu?

_Yes,he is. What is he doing here with two ladies?

_That's Lord Lu plaything, she's usually on the news with him

_but who's the other lady?

_And why is the manager of the restaurant here in tears?

The manager ignored the rantings of his other customers,"Mr Lu,is the food not up to your taste?,is that why you want to foot the bill. We're serious,the bill is on us"People gasped upon hearing this.

Really,the manager that rarely shows his face came just to stop Lord Lu from footing the bill.

Everybody was stupified including Nu Yanyan. She didn't expect the waiter to call the manager and escalate the situation.

Lu Jingze was less bothered"Do you want my girlfriend to be unhappy therefore making me unhappy"he said to the manager who shook his head. After much persuasion,Lu Jingze didn't change his stance and the manager had to relent.

He let Lu Jingze foot the bill and as they were going,he said"do come again"Lu Jingze didn't respond,he put his arm around Nu Yanyan's waist and led her to his car.

Mo YuXiao chuckled awkwardly at the dog food she's being fed"Mr Lu, please do take care of Yanyan. I'll take my leave now"Lu Jingze nodded,Nu Yanyan removed his hands from his waist and hugged Mo YuXiao"Thank you"she whisphered in her ears.

Mo YuXiao nodded and Nu Yanyan released her from the hug,she bid Mo YuXiao goodbye and went with Lu Jingze into his car.

Inside the car where Lu Jingze and Nu Yanyan was in, the atmosphere was rigid and cold. Lu Jingze pouted, wanting Nu Yanyan to look his way but she only stared at the window of the car outrightly ignoring him.

"Yanyan,are you still mad at me?"Nu Yanyan wanted to stop her silent treatment when she heard his voice,it almost melt her heart but she was afraid that if she forgives him,he would make fun of her because she confessed to him in a fit of rage just like how he did in the restaurant restroom.

Nu Yanyan didn't speak and just continued staring at the scenery outside. She suddenly realized that she had forgotten the leftovers at the restaurant"Lu Jingze, the leftovers. Please get the restaurant to send it over"she said.

Lu Jingze frowned"I can cook for you". Nu Yanyan sneered"no need"she said remembering what he had said in the restaurant.
