In the office of the Dean of Education, the atmosphere was thick with tension. Laura sat on the sofa, seething with anger, while Jenny stood beside her, embellishing the story of how Kit had shown disrespect to the teacher. Seeing Kit enter, Jenny immediately stood up, urging, "Kit, apologize to Ms. Laura!"

Kit glanced at Jenny without any expression and then nodded politely to the Dean. "Good day, sir."

The Dean responded warmly, "Ah, Kit, please have a seat."

Jenny, confused, asked, "Sir, shouldn't you reprimand her for her behavior towards the teacher?"

The Dean shook his head gently and suggested, "How about this, Ms. Laura? You prepare a test paper, and we will see how well Kit understands physics." He then looked at Laura to gauge her opinion.

Laura sneered, full of disdain, "Fine!" She had already seen Kit's previous transcripts and knew she had never passed physics, convinced this would be a chance to embarrass her.

Laura returned to her office and brought back a national physics competition paper. The Dean provided a pen and scratch paper, kindly saying, "Take your time, Kit."

Kit took the paper, scanned the questions, and smirked inwardly. These questions weren't difficult for her. She pulled out a black pen from her bag and began answering.

Seeing Kit's swift start, Laura felt a twinge of worry, suspecting the Dean might be helping her. However, remembering she had chosen the paper and only she knew the answers, she relaxed a bit.

Time passed, and in less than twenty minutes, Kit put down her pen and calmly said, "Sir, I'm done."

Laura was taken aback, thinking Kit had scribbled random answers. "If you don't know how to do it, don't force it," she mocked.

The Dean took Kit's paper and began grading it carefully. His expression was serious, never needing the red pen. He checked and rechecked, then handed the paper to Laura, his face revealing nothing.

Laura, feeling pleased, expected to see numerous mistakes. However, her face changed drastically when she saw the answers—multiple-choice questions, all correct; fill-in-the-blank questions, all correct; even the final challenging question, correct!

"How is this possible? She cheated! She must have cheated!" Laura shouted, losing her usual composure. This paper was from the national physics competition, and the highest previous score was 92. She couldn't believe Kit had achieved a perfect score.

Kit remained expressionless, as if she had anticipated this reaction.

The Dean sternly said, "Ms. Laura, you prepared the test, and you were present during the exam. How could Kit have cheated?"

Laura was speechless, trying to explain, "Sir, I didn't mean..."

The Dean interrupted, "Enough. The results speak for themselves. We now know Kit's excellence. Since you're unwilling to teach Class F, you won't need to go there anymore."

Laura glared at Kit, silently promising retribution, and stormed out of the office. Jenny stood there, lost, until the Dean's reminder snapped her back to reality, and she hurriedly followed Laura.

The Dean turned to Kit with concern, "Kit, are you adjusting well here?"

Kit, rarely, showed a gentle smile, "It's fine."
