Chapter 167 The Great Flood

A carriage arrived surrounded by 4 people on white horses who wore similar types of an Armour as the ones standing on the platform so James simply assumed them to be soldiers.

The carriage stopped right beside the steps of the platform and one of the soldiers opened the double door, Another soldier stepped onto the platform and announced the arrival of the person within the carriage.

"The King of Great Egypt Has Arrived" The soldiers announced and walked away and out the carriage exited a dark skinned man with black hair and green eyes wearing a simple yet luxurious robe that covered his body.

The crowds increased around the platform after the announcement James looked around and noticed that he was not in the same place as earlier, He assumed this must be further into Set's Life he guessed.

James even caught sight of a huge Castle in the distance on a mountain.

The king arrived on the mountain and spoke, "The Great Sage Ma'at has decreed that These two brothers must be punished for the crimes of Burning Down multiple shops, Bakeries, Clothing merchants carriages"

Ma'at?

Ma'at, the goddess of truth, justice, and cosmic balance in ancient Egyptian mythology?

Wouldn't that mean that Set was someone who lived before these people became Gods?

This is way before the time of pyramids it seems.

James was intrigued as to how they had carriages and the other methods to transport food.

James also questioned why when he had killed Blackout and then also proceeded to kill the Totenkbrau that was being formed nothing like this happened.

Perhap, Its was because that was a Totenkbrau created unnaturally by outside interference, James thought but he didnt know the diffrence between that and Set.

Maybe there was someone else who had existed and was like James, He thought, That would explain it.

But then again wouldn't Set To become a Totenkbrau the plot of a story would need to be get interrupted.

James doesn't remember such a story form his previous life.

4000 years before the pyramids, that would mean that Set had existed for 12000 years, James remembered that some conspiracy theorist believed that 10,000 years before christ the starting of the modern calendar everyone followed, a huge Great flood spread destroying a great and advanced civilisation called Atlantis.

James didnt believe those conspiracies even if it intrigued him back then but here it seemed that the great flood had also wiped out the Egyptian Empire.

James also found it weird how it was called Egypt but decided to not bother with that question for long as it probably had a simple explanation to it.

James was intrigued as to how Set survived this which caused him to turn into "Set" and James curiosity grew.
