Calling the Police

Brianna frowned deeply. Hannah made everything sound so perfect, but the reality was far more complicated. She wished it were that simple, but the problem was that Robert wouldn't even give her a chance to meet him.

"Dad's been planning this divorce for a long time. The fact that he recorded those videos means he was determined to leave us, so... it's probably too late to win him back," Hannah said as she put the groceries away in the fridge.

Brianna let out a cold laugh. "Even if he takes me to court, I'll make sure his life is anything but smooth!"

Hannah's eyes gleamed with a cold, bitter resolve. "Exactly, Mom. We can't let Dad and that mistress live happily ever after! That wretched woman doesn't deserve to benefit from all your suffering. You and Dad went through so much together, and now you're supposed to end up with nothing?"
