As Asha walked out onto the streets, he couldn't help but marvel at the city's splendor. Despite having acquired the body's memories, the metropolis still felt like a new discovery. The city's modernity was striking, with advanced vehicles and towering buildings that seemed to touch the sky. The streets were immaculately clean, and aside from the occasional display of supernatural abilities, the city felt eerily familiar to Asha's previous world.
As he strolled through the crowds, Asha noticed people stealing glances at him. At first, he attributed it to his handsome appearance, but soon realized that their expressions were not admiration, but fear. It dawned on him that he had been carelessly releasing his aura, which resembled an ominous darkness – the aura of death. Quickly suppressing it, the people around him seemed to relax, some even chalking it up to their imagination. After all, only creatures from the underworld could release such an aura.
Asha let out a hesitant smile as he laughed at his mistake. He pushed open the door to an empty store, the bell above it ringing out as he stepped inside.
Asha walked into the store, clad in fully black attire, a style that the novel's Asha had always favored to complement his looks. The store was immaculate, with clothes hanging in neat rows, showcasing a diverse array of colors and designs.
The receptionist's eyes widened as Asha entered. She thought to herself, "Such a young kid... what is he doing in one of the most expensive stores in the city?" As she approached him, she was taken aback by his breathtaking beauty. His aura exuded a sense of Royalty, and despite his youthful appearance, his physique seemed chiseled and mature.
The receptionist's gaze lingered on Asha, her mind wandering to inappropriate thoughts. Suddenly, she snapped back to reality, realizing that Asha was standing inches away, looking confused. He had been trying to get her attention for two minutes.
"Sorry, sir! How can I assist you?" she exclaimed loudly, as if jolted out of a deep sleep.
Asha requested dark clothing that would complement his style. The receptionist presented him with various options, but Asha surprised her by choosing everything. Her eyes widened in shock, wondering if it was some kind of prank. However, before she could react, Asha revealed a shiny golden VIP card, adorned with large letters. His smile widened, clearly expecting her reaction.
After finalizing the purchase, Asha felt an overwhelming sense of pride. He was handsome, wealthy, and the main character – what more could one ask for?
