Kumo Attacks
As Minato called me to the meeting tent. I went there and saw Minato's worried face and asked "What's the matter Minato? Why the long face? Minato smiled and spoke "There are moments from Kumo and Iwa. The Third Raikage is also in the Kumo camp. We might have to face him soon." I nodded and said "Don't worry. The Raikage is just one person. We can beat him". Minato shook his head hearing my words and said "Ryu, don't underestimate the Raikage. He's very strong. There's also this hachibi jinchuriki as well. His name is Killer B". Explained Minato. "Oh! So what are your plans?" I asked him.
Minato thought for a moment and said " Actually I first thought you would fight the jinchuriki and I would take on the Raikage, but I decided against it and agreed to bring Kushina to fight the Jinchuriki...." I shook my head interrupting him and said "No way. I'm not going to let my sister fight in the battlefield. According to the village, might be that Jinchurikis are treated as weapons, but I disagree." Minato also nodded "So what's your plan?" He asked. "I have a way to defeat the third Raikage if we both fought together. I just need you to distract him and make him use his one finger strike. As for the Hachibi Jinchuriki, I can handle him easily." I answered.
"Then Ryu, wouldn't it be better if we let Kushina take on the jinchuriki till we deal with the Raikage? Also I don't know if the Raikage's son will arrive at the battlefield." I shook my head "Minato, Kushina is not yet in perfect control of Kurama's power and she's working on it. I don't want her to fight and take the risk". Minato was surprised and asked "Kurama?!! Is that the name of the ninetails? How do you know?" I smiled "Minato, since long back, me and sis has spoken to Kurama and they both are friends now. Keep this a secret even from Uncle Hiruzen. I've already released Kurama from the binding and changed the seal so that they can work together. Kushina just needs some training." Minato's mouth opened wide and he didn't know what to say. I just laughed.
After a long time of silence, Minato asked "So if you won't let Kushina fight, what's your plan of action? If the Raikage's son also arrives, we will be at a disadvantage." I answered "Minato, If both three of them arrive, I will take on the Jinchuriki and suppress him soon. Til that I want you to take on the Raikage. As for his son A, I have a person in mind who could fight toe to toe with him and even win". Minato curious asked "Are you going to ask Lady Tsunade?" I shook my head and said "No Minato. It's Might Dai. I will bring him". Minato facepalmed and said "He is a Genin Ryu. He can't even use any ninjutsu." I smiled and replied "Don't worry Minato. I've trained with him and He's definitely enough to take on Raikage's son. In fact, He could hold his own against the Raikage as well for some time, but it would be a burden for him."
"Fine. If you are so confident, then we will do as you planned. They will most probably start battle in the next three days. So you go and get ready". I nodded and said "I'll also get my mother and ask her to help with the medical team. We'll finish off the Raikage and win the battle." Minato also nodded "Fine. If Tsunade is also here, then I can Rest assured". I also nodded and disappeared with a yellow flash. I then returned to the leaf village and went to the Hokage's office. Hiruzen was sitting alone in his office when I entered. "What brings you here Ryu?" He asked. I then started to speak "Uncle Hiruzen, The battle with Kumo will start in 3 days. They are readying the troops. I came back to take my mother and ask you to send me one more shinobi".
Hiruzen nodded and asked "Whom do you want me to send?" I answered "In the battlefield, me and Minato will take on the Raikage and the Jinchuriki. I don't want Kushina to fight, so she will be on standby. My mother will be incharge of medical team. That leaves the Raikage's son and I want Might Dai to fight with him". Hiruzen frowned and said "Might Dai,? He's just a Genin Ryu. He can't even use ninjutsu". I nodded and said "I know Uncle Hiruzen. I have fought with him before and without doubt, he is an S-Rank Shinobi. I can give you my word on it". Hiruzen went wide eyed and said "Is that so. Then I trust you Ryu". And Gestured for an Anbu to appear "Go and get Might Dai". The Anbu nodded and flickered away. Hiruzen then started to write something in a paper.
After some time, the Anbu returned with Might dai and Dai asked kneeling down "Hokage Sama, you wished to see me". Hiruzen handed down a paper to Dai and said "Might Dai, I hereby promote you to the rank of Jonin and command you to assist in the Lightning battlefield under the command of Ryu Senju". Might dai with tears forming in his eyes answered "I will be honoured to Lord Hokage". I smiled seeing him and then we both left to get Tsunade. On the way, Dai thanked me many times. After meeting up with Tsunade, the three of us teleported to the battlefield.
The next day, we arranged everything and stood face to face with the Kumo army. As speculated, Kumo team consisted of the 3rd Raikage, His son A, The hachibi Jinchuriki B leading the troops. Konoha team consisted of Me, Minato, Tsunade and Might Dai. I left Kushina with Rin and others as standby. I told her that I'll call her if needed.
