Leo walked towards the squad bunk, he had been in HQ long enough to memorize most of the layout.
After walking for a while he arrived at the squad dorm and he entered.
He could see Emilia, Alex and Kevin sitting on some chairs informing Emilia about the stuff she missed.
"Ah, Leo. Take a seat quickly," spoke Alex.
Leo nodded and sat down on a chair.
Alex continued speaking.
"Me and Kevin had to stay in some other rooms than Leo, he was practically getting VIP treatment from Noah, weird right?"
Emilia seemed to be in thought before speaking.
"Well, it is Noah. That guy got an eye for talent, I guess."
"So, what happened after you got taken back to HQ? I was quite worried." Spoke Kevin.
Emilia let out a sigh before speaking.
"Well, I was already stable when I entered the helicopter, the only reason I wasn't able to join you on mission completion is because I was incapable of moving, as the "tank" of our squad that can be quite a problem. Once I arrived back at HQ they checked up on my injuries once again and then I was discharged from the med bay. I do still have some trouble walking around but after these two weeks I should be fine."
Kevin nodded vigorously before speaking.
"I am glad you are okay and I think we should celebrate the fact that we all returned alive, let's go out in the city for once and have a party!"
Everyone looked shocked at Kevin, they never expected the serious and cold sniper to say this.
Both Alex and Emilia agreed before they turned towards Leo.
Leo let out a sigh before responding.
"Sadly I can't, I have to do some more stuff."
Leo did not know if he could disclose the nature of his mission to his squadmates since Iris interrupted him when he wanted to ask his second question.
"Really dude? We are all finally back and you skip us like this?" said Emilia.
Before she could say another word Alex spoke.
"Emilia, don't forget that he is an anomaly, he is not like us."
Emilia looked at Alex with a shocked expression.
"He may be an anomaly, but he still saved my life on the field, just because he is an anomaly doesn't mean he should be treated as one, he is different!"
Alex wanted to counter-argue but Leo was ahead of him.
"No Emilia, Alex is right. My life is different from yours. I am not human and I have other stuff to do. That does not mean that I don't enjoy human pleasures, I just don't have time for them."
Emilia wanted to counterargue once again, but with even Leo agreeing with Alex she gave up.
There was a silence in the room for a while before Kevin spoke.
"Let's go, guys, I know a great bar close by."
Emilia and Alex got up and left the room. Right before Crawler left the room he turned around and spoke to Leo.
"We need to talk soon."
Leo did not get a chance to say anything since Kevin had already left the room.
"Guess there is nothing left to do except wait."
He stayed in the squad dormitory for the remainder of the time and after a while, a combative entered the room.
"Special agent Nightmare?" questioned the combative.
Leo let out a grunt of approval and turned toward him.
The combative handed him a folder of documents before speaking.
"This contains all the information you need, there is not alot since the client wishes to meet you personally to hand you the instructions."
The soldier quickly left after speaking and Leo eyed the file.
There was a big stamp on the folder itself saying [CLASSIFIED] ONLY SPECIAL AGENT NIGHTMARE HAS PERMISSION TO OPEN THIS FILE, OPENING THIS FILE WITHOUT PERMISSION WILL RESULT IN PROSECUTION.
Leo opened the file and read the first couple of lines before letting out a sigh.
"Should've known it."

Instructions: Have agent Nightmare meet me in my mansion for instructions on his mission, he does not need a general introduction about me since he already knows who I am due to his last mission.
In the next second, Leo heard another ding.
