Underground jungle?

What is it with this place and long tunnels? That was what I was thinking as I walked through the cave, I was already pretty tired, so I wonder, should I take a nap? I mean, there were some vines nearby, there was even some grass growing nearby. Now that I think of it, even the hard stone was being replaced with mud and dirt, pretty weird for a cave, I wonder how far I had fallen for it to turn into this? Also is it just me or is it getting warmer? Well, I also didn't catch sight of that lizard that ran away here. Guess it got really far?

While I was walking, I was suddenly grabbed by on of my legs from the vines, I was being pulled somewhere by it as I tried to hack at the vine pulling me. What was with this vine?! Suddenly, I had ended up in a much larger cave, face to face with a flower like plant that had shot the vine that was grabbing me from its bulb. I was getting closer to being swallowed by the plant, so I had blew fire onto the vine that was lifting me towards it, the vine catches fire and burns away, freeing me and dropping me into a bush.

I stand up confused by what had happened, let me think what happened again, when I was walking, one of the vines on the floor came to life when I stepped on it, then it pulled me through the tunnel until we reached this bigger cave, and now I am here. But wow, this cave is quite a sight, it was brighter than the other places here, there was these shining crystals on the roof, and there were plants growing around the place. It was weird, like an underground jungle. Looking there, I could see that the roof wasn't just a stone roof, it was actually brown, and was going downward on one end, to reach further into place I think.

What a strange place this was though, there was plants growing down here, and not just one or two, but an entire jungle. Scientists would have a seizure if they saw this. Alright, now it is time to be more serious, this place here is pretty dangerous, I can't even trust the trees if the plants can attack. So it's time to go mad with the Appraisal, first of, let me appraise that plant.

Wow, that is a high level, but you can't do anything since your immobile you dumb plant, wait, could I perhaps kill it since it can't move? As I thought that, the plant did something that surprised me, it had grown extra vines. Holy crap it can do that?! It shoots 3 vines towards me like whips, these unlike the one that came from the bulb came from its sides, I jump away from where they were about to land, if I was caught by three of them at such a close distance, then it's over. Wait wait time out, give me a break to sleep at least! Ugh, no point in asking something from a plant brain. Only way is to beat it or run. The plant was dangling on the bark of a tree there, quite a large tree if I do say so. Its vines were now redirecting their movement from the floor towards me, I duck under one then the other comes from my side and smacks me and one of them holds onto my foot. The vine hurt when it hit me, but luckily it didn't crush my scales when it struck, but the vine that held me from my foot was a problem, since the other two were coming as I was being held by it. I blow fire on it as a desperate attempt to remove it, the burning of the vine made the other vines tremble and stop, then eventually I was free from the vine. But man, I don't know how many more times I can use fire breathing, but I am sure it isn't much.

The plant had cut off the vine that was catching fire, I run towards the plant, it fires seeds towards me from its bulb as I got closer to it. Stop acting like a machine gun! I run towards the left to a nearby tree to protect myself from the seeds, when I do that, I see that there were some other creatures by the tree here. Giant rhinoceros beetles and so were near the tree here, I get away from that tree and back on the battlefield to not bring any more enemies here. And then I was bombarded by more seeds and the vines were coming for me. I jumped and rolled to the right to dodge the attacks, the vines couldn't latch on me since I was rolling and I luckily dodged the seeds. Suddenly the plant stops firing seeds, and I take it as an opportunity, I continue running towards it, one of the vines tried to catch me by my leg, so I jumped over it and stepped on it. The other one came to try and blindside me from the back, which it manages to do and knocks me off the vine, but luckily it brought me even closer towards the plant. I stand up and run for the final sprint as the two vines were going to chase me. Then I finally made it towards the bulb of the plant, I put my claws inside of it then pull at it with my back legs digging into the bark of the tree, the two vines had finally come and stabbed into my back, they vines were digging deeper into my back and the pain was unbearable, but I force myself to continue pulling the plant out.

I pay the level ups no mind, and I continue uprooting the plant, the sound of cracking on the plant was getting more and more apparent as I had pulled it, then suddenly my arms felt no more resistance as I had finally uprooted the plant. The vines in my back fall limp, leaving my back with two holes in them. Ow, it really freaking hurt.

Oh crap! Two levels! Was that plant such a dangerous foe? Anyways I don't care since now I'm happy, I leveled up a ton, and now I have a big amount of skill points, but yeah, I should get away from here. Before anything comes here, but I am definitely gonna be eating this giant plant.

I take a bite out of the plant, it wasn't too bad actually, except that it did taste a little bittersweet. But it was more enjoyable than that spider. Bleh, even thinking about it is enough to make me puke.

Holy moly, I have so many evolutionary points now, no more will I struggle to get what I need. I hear some movements around me and then I get scared a little, yeah this was still a dangerous place, I guess I'll climb up this tree that the plant was attached to, since it should be empty.

I climb up the tree pretty easily, I was rock climbing all time before this so this is a piece of cake. When I climb up, I find a particularly thick branch that was devoid of all creatures, I lay down on it and prepare to sleep, I'm just way too tired. All this leveling up and stuff can come in the morning.
