The taxi driver responded, and immediately started the car and drove away from the villa. Claire sat in the car, looking at the lights passing by outside the window, her heart became more and more restless. She lowered her head and stroked her abdomen, her eyes flickered with an inexplicable light.
"It's too late today, there are no doctors available for surgery," said the nurse on duty at a small clinic in the center of City A, while looking at Claire.
"Please come back tomorrow."
Claire tightened the blanket around her and hesitated for a moment before slowly saying, "Can you call a doctor to come over? l just want to have an abortion tonight."
