Behind The Iron Bars

Aslan put down his sword again. Several guards who were chasing the criminal came surrounding him and Caroline. Caroline's mother came over to her daughter and hugged her tightly.

"That man killed him! That man who killed the criminal on the run! My daughter only wanted to help him!"

Aslan didn't understand. He didn't have time to escape when a guard arrived and pinned him down to the ground. 

"I helped you!" Aslan exclaimed in annoyance. He didn't accept it and tried to stand up again.

"But, not by killing the criminal!"

Aslan kicked one of the guards pinning him to the ground and tried to escape, but the four men surrounding him held him down on all sides. Suddenly, a guard took out a syringe with clear green liquid and injected it into his thigh.

Aslan cursed because his vision suddenly blurred and then several faces that surrounded him seemed to move erratically until he finally fainted.
