Mad

Shiyou reaches at their hidden base where currently their poison squad was being trained. Hidden in valleys and underground this place was was heaven for them to do all the dirty work.

He enters through the hidden door and walks the long path all while bubbling with anger. His anger had closed his mind to realize the deathly silence or the lacking presence.

After walking through the path an open hall filled with rows of tables and scattered medicines on top welcomes him. Not finding even a single person makes him more angry. He marches towards the sleeping chamber of the third elder.

Not caring for the respect or manners he kicks the door nearly breaking its hinges. But there was no one in the room. He was now livid with anger veins bulging on his forehead and neck he moves onto next destination.

Turning left and right he reaches to the main experiment room where various deadly poisons were made and experimented on prisoners or slaves. Some were even common people kidnapped and brought here to be experimented on.

As soon as he entered the door he could smell the foul and sour smell. More than other days today the smell was very strong. Beside the pungent smell he could also smell blood. He takes out his hanky to cover his nose as not to vomit from this nauseating smell.

On his way he saw many of the prisoners had died, their flesh had started to root. It was a gruesome sight to see but for him it was just disgusting and nothing more. He was cursing all the people who had turned invisible as he moved ahead.

He halts on his steps all the cursing and anger gone replaced with shock and confusion. The people raised and trained meticulously as their hidden chips now laid on the floor cold.

He was sure that none were alive, some had foams coming from their mouth while some had blood. Some even had their skin colour changed to purple. It was clear that they died by poison the feeling of dread come to him in full force.

His steps quicken to the inner part and along the way many bodies were on the floor. Finally he reaches the door of the room which was used by the third elder. He unlike earlier pushes the door gently.

What greeted his sight was the man had his head on the table as if fallen asleep while working. He moves near to the man and rests his finger on the man's neck only to find the man was long dead.

This man was none other than the third elder. Shiyou felt he would go crazy, not only Pei Jin who was supposed to die lived his entire hidden chip was now dead.

He was about to go back and investigate of the enemy invasion when his eye lands on the paper pinned by the third elders head. He takes the paper which obviously was written to him as his name was written.

"Crown Prince Shiyou...this one has left the mortal realm if you are reading this letter...this one had send a person to inform about the mission's success and found it had failed...this one is ashamed and to bear responsibility pays with one's small life...our members of squad if dead also must have followed ones path despite this ones disagreement..

Though it was indeed strange and mysterious for our enemy to live after conducting the experiments on so many people...but this one has found the clue as to our failure...the poison we cultivated was changed in some steps with additional herbs...but in our effort to complete the pill we left out an important part...we hadn't tested the pill on the people with strong cultivation...

It seems the poison will not work smoothly depending on ones level of cultivation...though we have yet to know the effects of the poison in his body but one thing for sure is his cultivation is very high...he is definetly a master and has been hiding his true strength...

Shiyou's mood was dark from all the information, he picks up the man by his throat and flings the man to crash on the walls. Blood was splattered on the wall making it look horrendous and scary.

He like a mad man flips the table and breaks everything he could break. The letter was all crumpled in his fist but he couldn't tear it to pieces as it need to be seen by his father.

After the angers burst he laughs like a maniac "Pei Jin...oh...Pei Jin...what a sneaky fox you are...for to have fooled everyone and hiding so deep...but no more...for your secrets has surfaced...wait for benwang to chop you to pieces...benwang will have your flesh and bones gnawed by the beasts"
