Chapter 13; Thank you so much...

Ye Mei gazed at the undone part and the fast-approaching wolves, when they turned to their left to rush out, they noticed that they were already surrounded.

Wei Tang didn't panic but was worried about Ye Mei, "I will hold them back and you rush away.." his voice turned raw and frosty, it was do or die battle here.. he didn't mind dying but he wouldn't let her die with him.

"Stop talking..." She rushed forward and tackled an angle of them, they were around twenty wolves.

They surrounded her and encircled her into the middle, in tactical, five wolves attacked her from all sides, they lunged at her but she jumped up and they collided against each other, going down she caught a wolf and punched its heart before sliding down kicking several of them with her left leg as she swirled.

Glimpsing that cruel fight, Wei Tang didn't slack, he also began fighting, as he attacked their weak points.

"Wei Tang, take this as a training..." Her voice echoed as she battled face-to-face with three wolves, suddenly one caught her arm tearing the uniform off.

Before it could escape, she caught its front leg sliding in between its legs as her hard tightened fist punched, hitting its chest hard and killing it instantly.

"All right.." Wei Tang fought and tackled several wolves.

In the office, Mu Zhen dialed Wei Tang's number and it wasn't going through.. his entire face countenance was pale and he felt sharp pains in his chest, he hunched his back in fright.

Wei Lin walked in to see Mu Zhen looking terrible... "Master, are you all right? What happened?" he rushed forward to assist him but Mu Zhen shoved him away in repulsion.

"Don't come closer.." his voice was hoarse as the veins on his forehead popped out and you could see he was enduring excruciating pain.

Wei Lin who was shoved away hadn't anticipated that he stumbled backward a little before stabilizing his footsteps.

Mu Zhen staggered over and slumped down onto his chair weakly, he didn't know why he was feeling like this, it was as if he had experienced the same pain and sense of loss, it felt like de vaju.

He hurriedly gulped large amounts of air as he struggled to get a grip on his emotions, it was all right a few minutes ago but it suddenly got severe.

In the forest, after a long fight, they finally killed all the wolves but by the time they were done, it was already dark.

Ye Mei plopped down onto the ground exhausted and her entire uniform was torn, and her bare skin was covered in scratches.

"Hey little girl, you haven't told me your name yet.." for the first time he felt the sense of comradery, for the first time he feels fulfillment.. if it were other soldiers, they would have run away leaving him all alone.

In a world where you are a lone ranger, you can only believe and trust in yourself.

He laid down on the ground to hold his breath, he was damn exhausted but learned a few tips here and there from Ye Mei.

"Just call me Xiao Mei.." she turned around gazing at him, she could trust only him and believe him apart from Mu Zhen.

"Thank you so much..." Yes, he appreciated the fact that she stayed along and the fact that she took him as an important person in her life.

"No need to, you should think of how we are going to explain how twenty minutes turned into two hours... " She rumbled while gazing at the dark sky.

"Hahaha..." They laughed before taking a deep breath.

In the office, Mu Zhen finally felt better and didn't feel any pain, he leaned back on the seat comfortably closing his eyes, Wei Lin has been in a distance and just watched.
