Chapter 31 Play Together_1

Justin wanted to hurry to the Flores Village to settle his brother's marriage so that he could prepare for his son's one-month-old birthday. Therefore, he left early in the morning. This way, he might be able to finish in the morning and be back in the afternoon.

Aria sat on the edge of the big bed and looked at her brother. Wendy sat in front of the table and was using a sewing machine to sew her son's clothes.

"Aria, aren't you going out to play today?" Wendy found it strange. She felt that her daughter had been quiet for the past few days. Although she had always hoped that her daughter could be quiet, it was a little sudden. "Why aren't you playing with Ada and the others? Did you fight?"

"No, Mom." Aria shook her head." I just feel that it's a little cold outside, so I don't want to go out."

Wendy felt that it was normal when she heard Aria's reason. After all, her daughter was afraid of cold and heat. It was only May, so it was not particularly warm, especially since the weather seemed to have changed recently.

Wendy raised her head and looked at the gloomy sky through the window.

A few dog barks came from outside.

It was Mary and her two children, Steven and Julia.

Wendy was surprised to see Mary, but she quickly stood up and greeted her with a smile.

Wendy was a little helpless. "Since we're not outsiders, why do you bring the gift? I don't know how to thank you."

"I took it for Aria." Mary pointed at the bag and said, "There are canned strawberries inside. Aria likes to eat strawberries, but strawberries are very delicate and can't be kept for a long time, so I specially brought canned strawberries for her."

Mary didn't know what to give first. Later, Steven brought up the idea of giving canned strawberries. She also felt that Aria would like it.

"Thank you, Mrs. Young." Wendy could only say that.

When Aria saw Mary and the two siblings come in, she quickly got off the bed and walked up to them. "Thank you, Aunt Mary, but don't bring them to me next time. I can't accept a reward without merit."

Hearing a five-year-old child say something like "no merit, no reward", Mary felt that it was very cute. Moreover, Aria said such a word at this age. It was too smart.

"You have merit definitely. The last time, you saved Julia was the greatest merit!" Mary smiled and rubbed Aria's hair. "Since you're free, why don't you come to my house? Steven and Julia want to play with you!"

"By the way, I haven't seen the dog outside last time." Mary suddenly thought of the black dog she had just seen.

"I've been keeping it in Aria's grandfather's yard. I just brought it back yesterday." Wendy said. "But that dog is still very obedient and won't bite. Although it looks very scared, it's actually very docile."

"That's good." Mary said," It's not bad to have a dog. At least it can look after a house."

"Yes." Wendy nodded.

Then, Aria held Julia's hand and walked out. Steven followed behind her.

"Aria, your dog is so powerful!" Julia opened her mouth wide and looked at the dog tied to the tree, her eyes sparkling.

Aria looked at Handsome. It was usually awe-inspiring, but now it was lying on the ground. Perhaps because the weather was gloomy, even the dog felt uncomfortable.

Speaking of which, there was something to play with in the courtyard, and that was the swing.

The swing was very simple. There was a thick hemp rope tied between two trees and a car tire was hung in the middle. The tire was wrapped with a cloth. This was made by Justin himself.

Justin had picked up the tire from the roadside, and it could be used as a swing seat.

"Aria, I want to play it." Julia said and tugged at Aria's clothes.

Aria nodded and helped Julia sit on the tire. She asked Julia to hold onto the ropes on both sides. Then, she gently pushed her body from behind and let her swing slightly.

"Oh, that's great, Aria!" Julia was very satisfied with the swing, and her eyes narrowed.

Aria could not help but smile.

After pushing for a while, Aria was still a little tired. After all, she was only five years old. However, Julia was in high spirits, so Aria couldn't stop. She could only continue pushing Julia slowly.
