Three Mysterious Spot

Hao Shen had been in the Inner Region of the Magical Beast Mountain Range for three months already, he battled some weak Rank 3 Magical Beasts during this time and killed some of them, after continuous depletion, Hao Shen's Dou Qi had reached the limit of the 8-star Dou Zhe realm, he would probably have his breakthrough in the next few days.

Hao Shen was currently in a cave he had dug himself, it was situated on the flank of a mountain and possessed only one entrance, this reduced the risks for Hao Shen to be ambushed and allowed him to cultivate his Dou Qi more carelessly.

'I should have my breakthrough to the 9-star Dou Zhe realm tonight, it's one month faster than I expected.

It's already been three months since I arrived in the Inner Region of the Magical Beast Mountain Range but I didn't encounter any Magical Beast since I entered this part..'

Hao Shen was a little shocked about this fact, when one was within the Inner Region of the Magical Beast Mountain Range, it was pretty normal if he didn't encounter any human for a long time, but Hao Shen didn't even feel the presence of a Rank 4 Magical Beast since he had arrived in the surrounding hundreds of miles, this was pretty rare since most of the Magical Beast inside of the Inner Region were supposed to be Rank 4.

'Something should be blocking them outside of this part of the Inner Region, it could be a High-Level Expert in seclusion or something with a powerful aura that frightens the Rank 4 Magical Beast but that Rank 3 Magical Beast can't sense.'

At this moment, Xiao Hei arrived from above seemingly more powerful than last week, that's right, he had a breakthrough and reached the Peak of the Rank 1, becoming comparable to a 9-star Dou Zhe realm practitioner, thanks to his Dual Attributed Soul Xiao Hei was now able to fight with weak Dou Shi realm practitioner.

"Xiao Hei, you fought with that Tiger once more?" Hao Shen asked to which Xiao Hei nodded.

The Tiger that Hao Shen was speaking about was a Rank 3 Earth Splitting Tiger, it was an Earth Attributed Magical Beast who had formed a grudge with Xiao Hei a month ago, since then Xiao Hei would go to fight him multiples times a week, Hao Shen had wanted to help Xiao Hei kill it at first but Xiao Hei said that he wanted to fight it alone, it seemed that this ignited Xiao Hei's potential and he had his breakthrough once more.

One had to know that cultivation was very easy for Magical Beast before they reached the Rank 5, their speed was mostly determined by their bloodline and since Xiao Hei had become a Desolation Raven some months ago it was pretty obvious that he would breakthrough quickly.

This night, Hao Shen was sitting in meditative stance while cultivating, Fire Type Dou Qi was flowing toward him without stopping, the capacity to absorb Fire Dou Qi of the Star-Fire Revolution Mantra was only at the Huang Class Mid Level currently but thanks to Hao Shen Perfect Fire Affinity it was comparable to Huang Class High Level.

After three hours, bursts of Fire Dou Qi erupted from Hao Shen's body and his meridian seemed to contract to expulse the impure Dou Qi from his body while the Natural Fire Dou Qi was absorbed and refined at an enormous pace, suddenly it all stopped and inside of Hao Shen's Dantian an explosion like sound resonated.

Hao Shen had just had his breakthrough to the 9-star Dou Zhe realm, he sat on more hour to calm down and stabilize his cultivation.

Hao Shen's foundation had become extremely profound since he had filled his Dou Qi Flame with Star Energy, his Dou Qi also had become a lot purer since then.

'Good! I finally had my breakthrough, my cultivation will once more breakthrough in one year if I don't use any pills or encounter something thanks to my luck.'

Hao Shen then stood up and looked at Xiao Hei.

"Xiao Hei, come we're going to search the reason why there is not any Rank 4 Magical Beast or above who enter in this part of the Inner Region." This fact intrigued Hao Shen since he was practically sure that this was not a natural cause.

Xiao Hei flew on Hao Shen's shoulder.

Hao Shen then jumped out of his Cultivation Cave and reached the summit of the mountain he was currently on, he looked around and then jumped towards one side, Hao Shen first wanted to delimit the zone where the Rank 4 Magical Beast were afraid to enter.

Hao Shen walked for six hours before touring the entire zone, he had delimited a place where the thing that blocked them could be situated.

There were actually three suspicious places, one was a high mountain peak, one was a big lake and the last one was a deep pit in the ground.

Hao Shen first went toward the lake to see if he could find anything, the lake was situated the most far from his current position so he would go to search it first.

After three hours spent traveling toward the lake Hao Shen and Xiao Hei finally arrived before it, the lake was gigantic and extended on more than twenty miles.

Hao Shen was able to see that on the middle of the lake, a lone island was standing there, it didn't seem very big from where Hao Shen was standing but since he was quite far away it should still be of decent size, Hao Shen then stomped on the ground and jumped in the air while using the 1000th step of his Thousand Step Whirlwind, he had reached it a month ago and he was since then able to ride the air current for some time.

Hao Shen flew in the air and after some time, he landed on the island, just as he had assumed it was pretty big once he was on it.

Hao Shen and Xiao Hei then started to explore the island.
