Little did she know she was stepping into Xavier's trap.
'Ms. Darkwood, I feel the same way…' Xavier's voice echoed in her mind, startling her. 'We'll kiss in public more often.'
Iris, "..."
'Shameless!' Iris scolds him in her heart. She didn't have time to entertain him as her gaze fixed on the few guild members emerging from the building and glancing in their direction.
"Keep moving," Iris said calmly. "They won't notice us. I've already manipulated their minds. They'll believe we're their colleagues."
"Great job, Iris!" Justin couldn't resist giving her a thumbs-up in praise. Iris now possessed even stronger mind control abilities; she could control more than one person at the same time.
And what Iris had claimed proved true. The guild members simply nodded and headed toward the parking area.
They didn't teleport inside the building, afraid the powerful creature upstairs would notice their presence.
