Anjali laughed, shaking her head as she followed me. "You're unbelievable, you know that? Charging ahead with no map, no clear plan, and yet somehow... it feels like you'll find a way. You always do."
I glanced back at her, smirking. "Confidence is half the battle, Anjali. The other half is—"
"Luck?" she interrupted, her tone dripping with mockery.
"Not quite," I said, matching her playful tone. "The other half is adapting to whatever life throws at you. And you know, being stubbornly persistent helps too."
She rolled her eyes, but there was a warmth in her smile. "Persistent is one way to put it. Reckless might be more accurate."
"Semantics," I replied, waving off her comment. "Besides, we're not completely in the dark. The memory capsule mentioned a few things—The third way."
"Third way? What third way and what about the first and second way?"
