'Did Father finally realize I was telling the truth, but then again, he already knows what happened and just wants to save face. Sigh, no justice for the weak, regardless of your social status.' Nathaniel thought as he signed and accepted his fate before sensing someone was standing before him.

"You knew he was a victim of her technique… yet you still chose to punish him as a way to save face, truly some father you are, Nate Fang?" Rin commented calmly as he gripped Nate's hand stopping him from slapping his eldest once again.

After, bearing witness to the altercation that happened between Nate and Eveline and finally included Nathaniel, following his arrival into the hall. This led Rin to use shadow steps to stop Nate's pitiful attempt at redemption by slapping his eldest son to regain face.

"Hey, you can open your eyes now as he won't be able to hurt you, while I'm here," said Rin as he turned around and crouched to help Nathaniel to his feet, before walking away to go sit with Maze who just shook her head in disappoint.

'Sigh... just why must I be surrounded by fake knights in shining armor?' Maze wondered before minding her business and finishing the game she was playing. 

"T… T-Thanks," said Nathaniel as he opened his eyes only getting to view the back of his saver who seemed to be 6ft and of Asian descent with silverfish black hair and was wearing a long fluttering white and black kimono.

"P-p... preposterous! Who gave you the courage to tell me how to raise my child, brat?!" Ordered Nate as he blinked his eyes twice to register what had just occurred in these last few minutes.

"No, one sir but simply the moral compass, I follow which forces me to do things, I deem fit in any given situation," Rin replied with a yawn as glanced at Nate as if he were an idiot for asking such a dumb question. 

"Pfft... you truly are something Rin," laughed Maze as she could not hold it in any longer. 

"RIN JASPER OKURAMA! Apologize this instant young man," Crystal shouted after walking into the dining hall and witnessing Rin's blatant disrespect for his elders as Cherry trailed behind her with a three-layer chocolate vanilla cake in her hands.

That had carvings of the auspicious beast upon it: the Azure Dragon, White Tiger, Black Tortoise, and Vermilion Bird.

'Wait, wait hold up... he is the fabled otaku of the Kurama Clan?' The guests within attendance thought simultaneously as their minds began to race with ways to either kill him or tie him to their clans.

Before he grew up to threaten them all, as just the strength he displayed a while ago, already made him the head honcho of the younger generation. Considering none of the kids in attendance could stop the slap of a Demigod even if it was not geared towards them.

"Yes, mother... I Rin Jasper Kurama, apologize for my earlier conduct, I do hope everyone in attendance can forgive this savage who lacks common sense and tends to do things based on instinct alone," Rin stated as he stood up and bowed halfway toward the guest before straightening himself and sitting back down comfortably and closing his eyes. 

While everyone else just looked at him in awestruck and bewilderment as not just anyone could do what Rin did and act so calmly about it. 

'Hey, Rose, can you bring up my status?'

[Sure, but are you sure it is a good idea to flaunt your powers like that, Rin?]

'No, but what happened, happened so who cares… plus, what better way to show my might than to stop a self-proclaimed Demigod? Also, could you mark that woman wearing a midi black sundress and add her to my most dangerous list as a woman who knows her gift is a dangerous weapon if not managed properly.' Rin sighed and hoped this later would not come to bite him in the butt.

"Sigh, this boy will be the death of me, I swear but at least he has such a good heart," muttered Crystal as she walked to the center of the dining hall with Cherry following behind her as they moved toward a large vacant table that could easily sit ten people.

"You can put down the cake, Cherry, and thank you for your assistance also you can have the rest of the week off as I know we can be a bit much at times. But anywho thanks for always coming through when we most need you, especially on a day like this when we were having trouble making the cake."

"My pleasure, but there's no need for thanks, madam as I'm glad I could be of some assistance," Cherry stated with a smile as she placed down the cake and went to sit with Maze and Rin.
