16. Fears

"What did Cleopatra tell me? You mean, what did you not tell me?!!" Warrior 01 jumped from her seat and yelled at System 0 that remained quiet in their seat not doing a thing but staring at her with their deadly gazes.

"What do you mean by me telling you?" They asked calmly which got Warrior 01 more mad and attack him.

"I suggest you to take that hand off if you want to keep it" the cold gazes infuriated her and made her punch him hard on his face. System 0 did nothing but watching her again, Warrior 01 looked at their black holes trying to search for anything within them but there was nothing.

She tsked and was about to throw their body away but System 0 held her rest and pushed her to the table, sound of cracks and shatters filled the room but no one entered to check on them.

"I told you to watch those hands of yours if you treasure them" their cold eyes got darker and a terrifying aura surrounded it, scaring Warrior 01 who started trembling, "wh- what will you do?" she whispered, her breathing hitched when System 0 pulled her arm roughly and crack something inside.

"Aughhhh!"

System 0 watched as she trembled under him like a scared kitty, they pulled away and sat back in their seat.

They closed their eyes and sat silently until Warrior 01 stopped sobbing, when she finished, she sat back in her seat her arm trembling from the pain and pressure on it.

"Those should've been secret information and no warrior allowed to access them. Those who get a hold of them lose their lives, so you should be considered lucky"

"In which part am I lucky?" Her eyes still teary and her lips were shaking and hesitant to utter more words, afraid her injured arm or the other might get unlucky.

System 0 stood from their place and walked to sit beside her, he leaned a hand and held her injured arm to heal it, "I know so far things have been shitty and confusing but this is out of my control you see? I'm nothing but a system and work according to rules and roles I'm given by Nature, Earth and special cases"

"Special cases?" System 0 nodded their head and released extra mana to recover her arm.

"Special cases are not ancestors nor anything you as human can deal with, in simple words, they're the super of the supernatural things happening since the existence of the world"

"Like Gods?" She pondered, System 0 paused and gave the wrong reaction to Warrior 01 getting her worried, "System 0?"

"No, stop. Stop talking" they mumbled, cold sweats started to form on their forehead scaring Warrior 01 for real this time, "System 0?! Is there something I really need to know? Please!!"

Warrior 01 watched System 0 shake their head and stand up, rushing to the door, "System-?"

"No matter what, never get on the bad side of Special Cases, they can destroy you with one snap if they want, and not only you but this whole world too. Watch your mouth and stay. Away. From. Troubles"

"What about the keys?!"

System 0 stopped and turned their head slowly, they seemed worried and reluctant whether to tell or not, "you're just vessels for your ancestors to access your world and get you to theirs, like what Cleo did" they said before walking out of the room leaving Warrior 01 in a shock.
