I stood at the abysses base. A faint
light visible from its mouth through the dissipating
darkness. With a sudden yell I leaped with every
single bit of my strength. Instantly covering a
distance of 200 miles. I flew through the air at divine
speeds yet the mouth of the cliff had not rescued me.
Allowing me to realize a terrifying truth. My body
would have decayed long before it reached the cliffs
base. "tempest" I called as I reached the end of my
bound. [Cackle] A thin red bolt of lightning flashed
beneath my feat. Using it as a foot hold, I jumped
once more, immediately flying past the chasms
mouth. I was free at last. I willed a powerful gale
cushion me as I landed. I was finally free and yet my
expression was grave. For a large crimson spiraling
formation circulated at a very high velocity. Yet I
couldn't immediately escape to the mortal realm.
Rather I gently tapped the Shen amulet and willed
the very last bit of its spatial power to take me to her.
My master. ***
Deep within the heart of Vanaheim. A beautiful darkhaired
goddess screamed in agony. She was
surrounded by a ring of maids with panicked
expressions. "She's awake and screaming again."
"Should we call the master or…..." Their words
were forced back into their throats for a robust figure
appeared quietly in the chamber. "Leave us." He
commanded. He quietly sat by his daughter's
bedside as he observed her. Her eyes wet with tears.
"I shell find the one who did this to you and rip their
entrail from them. By my name I swear it." "Sadly,
you cannot." A voice new to him declared. He turned
to see my saddened figure. I sighed as I gazed onto
the screaming goddess. "Your strength is realms
apart compared to before. As expected of my
daughter's servant." He nodded appreciatively.
"How is she?." I inquired. "She has been like this for
days not long after you left. I sense her soul has been
injured. But I cannot trace its source or identify any
marks of conflict. Its really strange." I looked at her
writhing figure. "How much pain has she been in.?"
I asked. "Enough to shatter her mind if it hasn't
already." He said sorrowfully. Over the span of a
few the days most of his vibrant black strands of hair
had adopted a grey shade. "Step back." I
commanded. His eyes grew weary and uncertain and
a little incensed but noticing the certainty in my
voice he acceded. I opened the vial of the crystalline
liquid and poured its contents into my mouth.
However, I didn't swallow. I bent down over and
pressed my lips onto hers. She screamed and
thrashed yet I gently continued to kiss her. Not
stopping until every last bit of the elixir had
disappeared under her throat. Immediately a brilliant
stary light erupted from her figure and burned
through the dark sky. When it subsided, she lay
silently on the bed, no longer thrashing. I gently
kissed her forehead. Her father immediately placed
his palm on her shoulder. Ascertaining her condition.
I rose up from her side and held up my palm. My
divine magic began to flow as I performed the one
complex spell I had comprehended absolutely. A
crimson breach appeared in space. On its other side,
the peach walls and the protective squares of my
childhood home. "I must leave. Sadly, I may not be
able to return. She should wake up in a few hours in
perfect condition. Not even you can harm her now if
you wanted to. Tell her to come to form five if she
ever wants to find me. Shell understand." After
giving Theia one last gentle look I stepped into the
breach. Escaping the lawlessness of the celestial
realm.***
