Grabbing onto Xilo's body from behind, Tearia tried to hide herself from all the stares in the room. With Xilo blocking her off she tried to settle down her heart rate as she calmed her breathing while wiping some of the tears off her face. "Now isn't the time to cry." She was supposed to be happy with Xilo accepting her, not sad. It felt a little surreal to her but that would hopefully fade with time. She could fool around with Xilo another time though for now there were more pressing matters.
"You seem to be doing well after collapsing like that Tearia."
"I'm a little bit tired still, nothing major. For now we have some things to do before we can talk, help me."
Focusing on the King's body as it laid near the purple crystal lodged in the center of the room she replayed the King's words in her head. "Need to get rid of it." Tapping Xilo on his shoulder she used him a bit to help stand up as he followed her. Spotting Zilan she signaled him to come with them as she explained a little bit of what happened to her. She would tell the rest to Xilo when she had time but right now stopping the King's infection from spreading anymore was on the top of her list.
"I need you to burn his body for me."
"Yeah I can do that just give me a second."
"Good."
"Mind if I ask why though?"
Trying to think of the easiest way to explain this she just stuck to the truth a bit as she watched his body light on fire.
"The King himself asked me after I killed him. A last wish of sorts."
Watching flames fill her vision she grabbed Xilo's hand as she turned away with that job done as she looked at Felli. "Not now." She wanted to so desperately say something but she held herself back as continued her explanation. If they wanted to get out of her she needed to confirm some things then she could follow the King's advice. Gripping Xilo's hand tighter she felt her body shaking as she called the attention of everyone. Being the weakest here she felt a little pressured still to have all this waying down on her even if they knew each other.
"After I landed the final blow on the King, he showed me a world of sorts where he talked with me. In there he mentioned how he wasn't the one who trapped us all here so I wanted to go confirm it with you all before we follow his instructions. Everyone okay with that?"
"I'd say that's fine however if it wasn't the King then who?"
"I think we all know the answer to that question..."
Saying that she watched as they all nodded in agreement as they all came to the same conclusion. "Wolf Weavers." If not the King, they were the only logical conclusion that made sense. Feeling some of the jitters leave her body she continued to talk as she started to make her way down to the entrance of this place with everyone except Felli and Marie behind her. Felli was still too weak to do anything so it was best if Marie stayed with her while they checked up on things.
"The King also told me there was a secret passage we could access to escape this place but I don't want to use it yet without seeing things for myself. I'm sure you all agree?"
It would also be a little hard to get Zilan's group to agree with her based on words alone but they were being surprisingly agreeable. "I guess after that fight it's hard to not trust someone." Still though getting solid proof wasn't a bad thing. Walking they scouted everywhere looking for signs of anything different before they made it to the entrance. Looking at the stone wall that hadn't disappeared after the King disappeared she let out a quiet sigh.
"Still here it seems. The King mentioned most things in this place would stop working after his death since he wouldn't be able to power it anymore and this should be one of them. The only way for that to change was if someone alive took it over the control of it."
Walking up she put her hand on the Wall to try and get a feeling of the energy as the King's words were further confirmed. The King's energy was very distinct even if it was filled with thousands of peoples Astral Power. This wall however only had the one and it felt slightly familiar from another energy she had found before. It was vicious like the Wolf's energy when they had foughten earlier which most likely meant they had gained control of this area.
"This confirms his words, most likely the Wolves are waiting for us to get tired out before they storm in here and kill us."
"So It seems, Then you mentioned there being another way out right Tearia, Where is it then?"
As much as Xilo wanted to take care of the wolves, right now wasn't a good time for that. They were all on the other side completely prepared for them while his group was tired and trapped in a corner. Any fight right now wouldn't go their way so it was best to escape while they could. They could deal with the Wolves another time if they could escape. "It shouldn't be too hard right?" Looking at Tearia, Xilo hoped that was the case at least but her face said otherwise.
"It shouldn't be too hard to escape. The only big problem is I don't know where we'll end up after we use it nor did the King say where it would go. So we'll be going in quite blind unfortunately."
"That doesn't sound too bad at least. Better than fighting a horde of the Wolf Clan in our current condition."
Chiming in Zilan looked up at the Stone wall as thoughts ran through his head. He didn't really want to run from the Wolves but he didn't have a choice at the moment. Staying to fight them would just be suicide and putting his friends in that kind of danger for some revenge wasn't worth it. "I can't do that to them." If he was alone it might have been a different story but now he needed to leave. Looking to Tearia and Xilo he let them lead the way.
"So then how do we escape now?"
"We'll be teleporting out using one of the Giant Purple crystals in the room we fought in. It doesn't have a lot of energy left in it but it's enough to get the job done. It's just a little hidden so we'll have to do some breaking to get to it."
Turning around they walked back to the room as they left the blocked off area behind them.
