Sneak Attack

Watching the girl's bodies begin to heal at a rate she didn't expect, Marie was left speechless as she tried to analyze the energy in her body to see what Xilo did. "I can't get a read on it. It keeps hiding itself from me." Shaking her head she cleared her thoughts as she focused on the two of them. If this could help them heal then she wasn't going to complain about it anymore. Grabbing both of their hands she held them as she helped the process speed up.

"Tearia's bones are broken and Felli has a giant hole in her stomach..."

Sneaking closer Xilo made sure he wasn't detected as ice charged up in his body. Zilan and the twins were constantly attacking the King in a back and forth clash of elements and Astral Weapons. "Seems like they've brought those out now." He had noticed Zilan's sword snapping and thought he might have suffered a backlash that would've put them in a worse position however nothing happened. Now with that sword broken though it seemed like he pulled out his Astral Weapon.

"So Brass knuckles for you, fitting."

With a flurry of punches that carried the weight of his Astral Energy behind it Zilan attacked the king, not giving him any room to breathe as a set of red Astral Energy formed around his fist giving him extra protection and damage along with easier control of his flames. For Zilan it was the perfect weapon that was just as simple as he was and it was something he liked quite a bit. He lost out at distances however his fighting style was always in your face. If ever at range he would just use pure energy instead to deal with it.

"Daral, Sarin!"

"On it already."

"Don't need to tell us twice man."

Watching the twins rush the King's sides with one handed swords in each hand they both twisted their bodies slightly as four simultaneous slashes hit the king followed up with a punch to the gut. Coughing, the King felt some pain stagger him after taking all of those hits. "It's not working anymore." No matter how much he tried he couldn't soften their blows anymore using his Light Energy and that was concerning. If he couldn't constantly weaken them, then he was going to eventually lose this fight unless he could deal with them quickly.

"This is why I never used it that much."

He was forced to use it though after just awakening and not being used to his body. Without it he would have lost to them long ago already. "They're a strong bunch aren't they." He was happy that there was still potential left in this world but that also meant he had to kill such potential to survive. Using both arms he grabbed the twins on either side of him as he shot a spear at them while he kicked the red headed man right in the stomach to get him off.

"I don't know what exactly you did to stop me but it won't make a difference. This is my domain, I won't lose so easily."

He still had one trick up his sleeve that he had set up earlier that he planned to use when they all grouped up again. The only problem with that is he had lost track of the silver haired boy that had run away from him. "He can't be running away can he?" If anything he would have expected the purple haired girl to run first not him but no matter where he looked he didn't see him. That was also a part of the reason he was taking so much damage. He was distracted, worried about a scary unknown variable that he didn't have a read on.

Without his ability to weaken them anymore he was no longer as strong as he once was and being snuck up on would be fatal. Suffering some extra damage was fine to him as long as he kept an eye on his surroundings. "That one is not a runner." That look he saw in the boy was of a predator willing to do anything to kill his prey without emotion, not of a coward. That was also why he was disappointed in the boy the most out of all them he had fought here.

"He's too impatient and uncaring when it comes to fighting and that's dangerous." One step in the wrong direction with that kind of mindset and it would lead to a disastrous path for him. "Seeing people with such potential like him fall to insanity and murder...isn't fun." He only had one best friend in his life but it used to be two however they eventually went on a rampage until eventually he had to kill him with his own hands to put a stop to him. "Those eyes, they're too similar." Seeing that look had brought back some bad memories back in his mess of a head. Even in his broken state he didn't want to see it happen again.

"So where is he then?"

Pushing aside the twins he was giving a little bit of breathing room for a second as a sharp spike of danger attacked him from behind.

"Found him."

A little too late almost he felt a presence rush at him at speeds he didn't expect before he collided and stabbed into his back just about where the girl had hit earlier.

"I let...my guard down."

Moving slightly he avoided fatal damage as he felt his spine breaking a bit as the silver haired boy stabbed into him while he struggled to escape in desperation before he activated his final card. He didn't plan to use it so suddenly but with the four of them grouped up now it was perfect. Watching the ground light up he ripped Xilo off him as an explosion went off beneath their feet. Soon the sound of explosions filled the room as his light went to work.

"This should be enough to defeat them."

Enjoy.
